Beautiful new self contained cottage set on large grounds, conveniently situated midway between Mittagong and Bowral and close to restaurants, shops and wineries. A world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but easy access to all the Highlands has to offer. An ideal base to explore all the towns of the Highlands or stay home, relax and read in front of the fire.
There is abundant bird life and beautiful views of Mount Gibralter.
Some breakfast provisions, teas and coffee are provided.

The space
Brand new fully self contained cottage with full kitchen and bathroom with bath and large shower, separate toilet and lounge, dining area with large screen TV.
Large alfresco area with views of the garden and BBQ is the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Guest access
Guests have a separate entrance and driveway but are welcome to stroll in the garden.

Other things to note
This area is very quiet in the evenings and is suited to couples wanting a quiet, romantic weekend away. We would ask that you respect our neighbours and refrain from making a noise.

Wonderful place in the highlands

Debbie was a most gracious host. Mike in the background has done an amazing job on their garden. The cottage is immaculate, filled with all the things you need / didn't know you needed, and is very comfortable. It's the perfect spot to access what's on offer in the highlands. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if looking in the highlands.

Exceeded our high expectations

We knew this place was going to be good, but it was even better than we expected. Debbie had the place well stocked, it was beautiful and clean, very comfortable. It is right next to the main house but still very private.

Homely Cottage Stay

We really appreciated all the little touches that Debbie had put in to make our stay extra special. She baked delicious friands and provided other snacks/drinks to make us feel at home. We loved how clean, modern, spacious and comfy the cottage is and will definitely be back again when we are back in Bowral. Debbie is a warm and lovely host.

The cottage is fabulous & our host Debbie is amazing! Location is brilliant, very peaceful surroundings, lovely contemporary decor and the added little touches of sparkling wine, homemade friands, milk of our choosing, fresh eggs, cheese & crackers made for a very enjoyable stay. Our wedding Anniversary

We came to the cottage after work and we were greeted by Debbie who gave us a lovely tour of the place. Even provided us with muffins on arrival. We enjoyed our stay as my wife and I felt at peace and comfortable. Would highly recommend coming here to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The cottage exceeded our expectations in comfort, privacy, and delicious freshly made berry and banana muffins and bubbles to enjoy in the evening to take in the glowing sunset against the rock formation of Mt Gibralter. A Hidden Gem for a Perfect Getaway

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Debbie and Mike's cottage “Tucked away II” for a wedding weekend, and it exceeded all expectations. In a serene location of Bowral, the cottage is a true gem, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The hospitality was exceptional; upon arrival, we were welcomed with champagne, delicious Friands,chocolates and a generous selection of breakfast provisions,, and snacks. The attention to detail extended to luxury bathroom products, making the stay feel indulgent. One of the highlights was the stunning propert built & created by Mike & Debbie & the beautiful working fireplace, which added a cozy ambiance to our evenings. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the stunning bath, complete with luxurious bath salts. Debbie and Mike were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. We truly wished we could have stayed longer! Maryann & Peter

Flawless presentation and lovely host

We had a lovely time relaxing for an anniversary weekend. The property is quite new and flawlessly presented with incredible attention to detail. The host communicated promptly and was incredibly accomodating baking muffins on arrival catered to my wife's allergies. Driveway access was a little tricky. The property is nestled at the bottom of the mountain just out of town with beautiful garden views. A perfect little tucked away weekender. The property was stocked with a mind blowing array of extras like food and drinks and the host has clearly put in a lot of thought and attention to detail. A labour of love.

Tucked Away cottage was the best we have ever stayed in. We were impressed with every aspect of the cozy but modern cottage, where everything we could ever need for our stay was supplied. We were delighted with all the special ‘extras’ provided by our amazing hosts, which we did not expect. The fireplace was an absolute treat on the cold days. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others visiting the Bowral area.

Few Days Retreat

A superb cottage for that quite retreat in natural peaceful green surroundings. From booking right thru to departure everything went smoothly. Cottage fixtures and fittings were of high quality standard and kitchen contained ed all available items for making light breakfast and snacks incl. milk, juice, bread, nespresso coffee, teas and many other items which are on a long list to mention. Stunning Tranquil Haven

We enjoyed the most relaxing time in this stunning cottage full of beautiful welcoming touches by the two most amazing hosts ever! Debbie & Mike were such wonderful hosts & nothing was too much trouble , they were so welcoming, yet leave you to have your privacy as well. Their elegantly decorated cottage is immaculately kept & also the gorgeous lush green gardens, so pretty. It was bliss to arrive & feel at home straight away. It was also just beautiful to relax on the deck & enjoy the views . We can’t recommend this property enough. It’s close to everything you need, but yet so quiet & peaceful to relax & unwind. Perfect for quite getaway

This cottage is just perfect. Everything and more has been thought of. Debbie goes the extra mile, with fresh home made goodies. Very considerate and respectful. The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable with parking at the door. The location is handy to Bowral, Mittagong and pretty much all of the Southern Highlands.
