Couldn’t have asked for any better. Cottage is well equipped with anything you might need during your stay. The interior lends itself to a calm relaxing atmosphere. Denise even went the extra mile to accommodate my oxygen needs. We will definitely return next summer. So happy that we found this place.

The hosts went above and beyond for our stay, and provided everything we might need and more. This cozy cottage was so comfortable, clean and enjoyable to stay in. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a lovely place to stay on the Sylvan Lake, Red Deer area.

Our family had an excellent stay at the Cedar Cottage. We could have easily spent all summer here! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel special and cared for. The communication was excellent and the location was a short walk to the beach and restaurants! We especially appreciated being able to use paddle boards, life jackets, beach towels and kayaks. More than enough bath towels and access to the washer and dryer is a huge plus!I definitely recommend these hosts and their cottage! Thanks for an amazing experience.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at Cedar Cottage.From the very first communication Denise was wonderful. She responded to emails promptly, made check in a breeze, and was available with suggestions if desired. Including - don’t miss the sunset! The cottage was absolutely pristine, so cozy and comfortable, well equipped, and very well organized. Everything was of a very high standard but with lovely homely touches so it is a very welcoming and relaxing space. Extra points for the Brown Betty teapot! Generous touches such as wine in the fridge and a gift certificate were appreciated.The outside space was lovely, perfectly maintained with lots of different sitting areas and only a few steps to the beach.We loved our time at Cedar Cottage, wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to a return visit with family. Thank you, Sue and Tim.

The cottage was amazing! Very well equipped. Absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay. Bedding was lovely , very comfortable. Enjoyed the warm wood burning fireplace. The beach theme is adorable. The homes decor is beautifully put together. We will definitely be back!

The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything and more that we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.The location was perfect— close to the lake (1/2 block), local shops, and restaurants, while still being peaceful and quiet. We loved spending our mornings with coffee on the deck and making smores in the fire pit at night. Lovely Cottage Close to the Beach

What a gorgeous cottage. It was perfect for our needs. It was spotless, warm and cozy. We did all our own cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Denise provided excellent instructions and directions. Communication from booking to check-out was prompt and helpful.I would highly recommend this place. We were sad to leave and hope to go back again.

A cozy and comfortable stay! The host has thought of everything to make this a great place to be! From a loaded hot drink bar, access to numerous water activities, everything we needed for the kitchen, plus supplies needed for the fireplace. Wonderful stay

We loved our location and the home was everything we could have asked for - it was clean, organized and fully stocked with everything would could wish for! Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and gracious - we had a great time and built some wonderful memories in Sylvan Lake.
