Silvan is a scenic town, located 40km east of Melbourne, centrally located within 7 minutes drive to Monbulk, Mt Evelyn, Seville and Wandin townships, set amongst the rolling hills of the Yarra Valley at the base of the Dandenong Ranges.
As a township of the Yarra Valley, Silvan offers easy and direct access to all the finest vineyards and wineries in the region. Silvan itself is a quiet town, with nutrient rich reed soil, well suited to growing fruits, vegetables and flowers. They are many pick-yourself orchards and berry farms surrounding the property.
If you are looking for a perfect base away from the hustle and bustle to discover what the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges have to offer, within a short distance to cafes, pub, reserves and trails, somewhere affordable and comfortable, look no further!
The self-contained and private apartment has its own access and undercover outdoor balcony area, your privacy is assured. The apartment is located on a working Permaculture Farm, has beautiful views of surrounding farmland and mountains ranges.
The apartment offers easy, contactless access, free undercover parking and entry is via a ramp, there are no stairs. There is lock box at the front door, providing for contactless access and you will be given a code to retrieve the key.
There are 4 bedrooms, Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and ensuite, Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and ensuite affect bathroom, Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed (double underneath, single on top), Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds.
The lounge room has a lounge suite, coffee table and smart tv. Extra floor cushions are supplied if extra seating is required. There is split system heating and cooling your comfort.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Cooking facilities include: stove top, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and fridge. Pots, pans, cutlery, assorted pantry items, coffee, tea, milk & sugar are all provided.
There are two bathrooms; and ensuite and main. The main bathroom has a bath, shower, and hairdryer and the ensuite has a shower and toilet.
All linen, bedding and towels are provided.
There is free wifi available.
Outside there is a verge large covered patio with an amazing view of surrounding farmland and hills. King parrots, rosellas, cockatoos and galahs are regular visitors and seed is left in a jar outside if you would like to feed them. There is outdoor furniture if you would like to relax and take in your surroundings.
Pets are welcome but must be on a lead when outside at all times.
Please note: Our check in time is after 3pm and check out time is anytime prior to 11am, we are unable to provide later check outs.
Other things to note: Guests are expected to leave the property in a neat & tidy state, including dishes washed, used towels placed in bathroom for collection, fridge empty, rubbish in bin bags and personal items removed. This will ensure the property can be prepared and cleaned for the next guest by our attending cleaner.
The beds in this property are provided with an underlay/mattress protector, fitted sheet, top sheet, 4 pillows with covers & comforter/doona. There is extra bedding in the linen cupboard if needed.
