A-Wave from it All - 1960's Chic

Perfectly positioned in one of Warrnambool’s most sought out areas, this house is only 100m to Grannies Grave reserve and Playground, and only a couple minutes further over the dunes on foot to the local surfing beach.

With mid-century modern features throughout, our 1960s beach house “A-Wave from it all” has an ambience all of its own – the moment you walk in you will feel relaxed with the natural light-filled open plan dining / lounge area, which is the heart of the home.

There is seating for 5 around this table where family dinners are a time for catching up and enjoying a meal with those you love.

You'll also find a window seat ideal for curling up with a good book or flipping through you favourite magazine. This home is where you have the time to do those simple things we never seem to find time for in our regular lives.

The living space comes with a gas log fire for those winter evenings playing cards or enjoying a glass of wine after a busy day.

There are 2 bedrooms, the first with 3 beds (2 king singles and 1 single) and second master room contains a Queen bed. Both bedrooms have brand new convention heaters. There is also a cot and highchair if needed during your stay.

The main bathroom has a bath and separate walk-in shower.

The kitchen has all you need as well as soda stream for your use - please note there is no dishwasher at the property. Off the kitchen you will find a second living space / sunroom. With large day bed and wrap around windows, it is the perfect spot for breaky in winter and a shady place in summer to relax.

There is also a laundry with washing machine for your use during your stay as well as a selection of games. Attached to the laundry is a separate toilet.

Outside to the front is a decking with seating perfect for a morning coffee, or late wine to catch the sunset in summer. To the rear is a large enclosed yard with native gardens, plenty of grass for playing, a vegetable patch with seasonal vegetables you are welcome to use, BBQ and outdoor seating.

Rinse off the sand with the outdoor shower.

There is no internet, no wifi, no dishwasher. We provide a Bluetooth stereo with radio/CD player, magazines, books, board games, cards and kids toys, so that when you’re here – you can slow down.

This lovingly created Warrnambool home is ideally located for all Warrnambool has to offer. Head to the Whale Watching platform between June and September to enjoy the Southern Right Whales. Enjoy a number of beaches like The Flume, Granny's Grave which are great for surfing, Logans' Beach and our favourite Point Ritchie's for quiet walks.

Just around the corner you will find Hopkins River and Proudfoots for dinners out or head into the CBD for a variety of shops and restaurants. A-Wave from it All is made for a different kind of holiday, where its about spending time with those you love, escaping, disconnecting and finding moments to take a breath and just stop; then this is the place for you!
