A quick drive to many local attractions such as the Oregon Dunes and beaches, The famous Sea Lion caves, The historic Heceta Lighthouse, nearby Woahink and Siltcoos Lakes for fishing, boating, kayaking or swimming. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Paddle the slow moving 3 mile designated canoe trail between Siltcoos Lake and the Pacific Ocean.Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily.
