Isoliert und doch nah an Annehmlichkeiten. Neu renoviertes Haus auf 6,7 Hektar direkt am Highway 24. Nur 4 Minuten westlich von Torrey Restaurants und anderen Dienstleistungen. Umgeben von FreiflĂ€chen mit spektakulĂ€rem Blick auf den Thousand Lake Mountain, den Boulder Mountain und die Henry Mountains. Der nĂ€chste Nachbar ist ĂŒber eine Meile entfernt! Es gibt eine Feuerstelle und einen Holzkohlegrill, wenn der Drang aufkommt, draußen zu kochen oder einfach am Feuer unter dem Sternenhimmel warm zu bleiben. Keine Nachbarn = keine Lichter = großartige Sternbeobachtung. Tolle Fotos auch in alle Richtungen!

Helle, offene KĂŒche und Essbereich. Herd und Heißluftofen sind Ă€lter, haben aber leicht alles gekocht, um Thanksgiving-Abendessen fĂŒr 10 zu veranstalten.

Ideal fĂŒr Kinder mit viel Platz, Spielzeug und einer Tischtennisplatte im Spielzimmer. Ältere Stereoanlage (bringen Sie Ihren Kindern bei, was Kassetten sind!) und neuer 48 "TV plus DVD-Player (wir haben auch einen VHS-Player und einige Kassetten fĂŒr mehr Geschichtsunterricht). Der antike Fernseher und das Radio im Wohnzimmer funktionieren nicht, können aber auch zum Geschichtsunterricht beitragen.

Tolle Fahrrad- oder ATV-Fahrten, SpaziergĂ€nge in der Natur und Wanderwege direkt vor der HaustĂŒr (erstaunliche 17-Meilen-Rennradschleife unter dem Cockscomb oder ~ 12-Meilen-Laufschleife auf der alten MĂŒllhalde) und natĂŒrlich der Capitol Reef National Park und viele andere Andere Naturwunder sind mit einer kurzen Fahrt leicht zu erreichen. Die Radrunde war die letzten beiden Runden der Tour of Utah im Jahr 2016.

Torrey hat sowohl saisonale als auch ganzjĂ€hrige Restaurants innerhalb von 2 Meilen. Gute Pizza, Burger, sĂŒdwestliches Essen alles nur eine kurze Fahrt entfernt.

Great home for our family's Christmas get together! All the pots, pans, and mixing bowls we needed for our Christmas dinner was there. Kitchen was well equipped and newer. There were several sitting areas so we could spread out and not all be confined to one room. The ping pong table was a lot of fun! It was remote enough to be peaceful & quiet but also close enough to Capitol Reef National Park and several gas stations. We saw so many stars and the Milky Way! Would recommend! Host was very responsive and gave clear directions to get to the house.

Great property for a group of friends or a family. Kitchen is very well appointed and we really appreciated the supply of spices, coffee, utensils, and dinnerware, etc, to make meal preparation easy. Beautiful views from the house and of course, there’s nothing like staying in the red rock canyon country of southern Utah. There’s countless great hikes and mountain biking nearby plus Capital Reef NP only 10 minutes away. The hosts were very responsive and made for an easy comfortable stay.

Amazing place. This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much. The host could not be nicer, have better communication and flexibility. They were very accommodating when I messed up on the reservation. The area has so much to offer! We will definitely make this an annual thing if we can!!

UTAZ IPA Tour 2025

Old retired guys out on an adventure to see the many sights in the area. The house was great, had a bit of trouble getting into the key lock, but the owner answered the call, and we got in easily. Had everything we needed, very comfortable. Loved that there were no neighbors close by.

Peaceful seclustion with magnificent views!

Such a wonderful property. It's just like it sounds... you have no neightbors and a wonderful seclusion. The property has magnficent views on all sides. The night skies are incredible! The host was so great about the couple inquiries I made. Perfect place for a family trip for a trip into Captial Reef and ATV riding.

Great Getaway Spot!

This property is just what we were looking for. It is centrally located to some beautiful hikes and drives, it had an amazing retro decor (with cassette tapes), and was well stocked. They had food bowls for the furry friends and a great yard for exploring and walking the dogs. Thank you so much for letting us stay here, I am sure we will be back again!

Unbeatable location

Absolutely gorgeous location, stunning views in every direction, feels like you’re miles from anyone else. We came for stargazing and the night sky was incredible. We loved the huge deck and comfy patio furniture - we sat outside for hours. We did a couple short scenic drives but mostly we didn’t want to leave! Everything was so comfortable 
 kitchen was clean and roomy with new appliances, Wi-Fi was as good as home (we had to do a bit of work during our stay), nice clean bathrooms, hot showers, plenty of blankets and towels, one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Torrey was so fun as well, we loved Etta Place Cider, and Hunt and Gather restaurant was phenomenal. We got coffee from Shooke and Dark Sky and both were great. From feeling like you’re living in total isolation, to gourmet food 5 minutes away 😋 Hope to be back soon!

We loved this property! It was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family (our 9, 7, and 2 year old kids loved it.) It felt like home: clean and welcoming, but well worn (in the best ways.) We were just a few minutes from Capitol Reef, which was beautiful. And the restaurants in Torrey were great. While we were at the house we played ping pong, watched movies, laid out on the patio to watch the stars, cooked, grilled, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sean was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Family reunion trip

This was the perfect property us to attend a large family reunion in nearby Lyman, UT. We had three elderly couples and a couple of adult children get together. The house is not fancy, but it had everything we needed. The best part is how isolated it sits from neighbors. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evening until it was really dark. The night sky was amazing without any light pollution. We were able to Capital Reef National Park, Boulder Mountain and other local hiking locations. Sean was a great host. Perfect place to use as a base camp to explore some of the most stunning natural beauty in Utah.

Great stay - again.

This is our second stay here and we love this place. Off by itself so the noise of kids and late night movies not a problem. Convenient for our nearby Capitol Reef National Park adventures. Not just an oasis, it’s a gem!

Six of us friends enjoyed our visit to Capitol Reef National Park so much, thanks for the comfort and convenience of this house provided us. The owner has stocked the house more than my own home. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed all the convenience such as the big kitchen, the laundry room, the deck and the ping pong table in the basement. The WiFi worked just like downtown! Thank you!

Rustic charmer with great views

This home was perfect for our multi-generational group aged from 13-82. The location near Capitol Reef and Torrey made it a perfect launching point for exploring Utah’s parks. The beds were all comfortable and we were able to rest easy after our days of hiking and exploring. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The game room was great for our teens. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The views from the property are phenomenal and the area gave us plenty of options for dining and adventure.

Quiet home on a beautiful setting

We loved our stay at this home. Remote and beautiful but with easy access to Capitol Reef National Park. Well stocked and comfortable. The deck was especially wonderful. We sat outside a lot and enjoyed the beauty and the quiet. We were warned that GPS wouldn’t work and it was a little hard to find, but the owner was immediately responsive when I called and then it was easy. I highly recommend this rental. I wish we could have stayed longer.
