Fun Family Stay!

The house was nice and comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to use. Check-in was simple and there were even helpful kid items like a high chair and board games. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway

Beautiful house, Great location. Has good amenities. Only downside is the neighbors dog that barks at all hours on their back porch.

Great place for a family

We loved staying here. Lots of space for our family, easy-to-use kitchen, and even some kid items like puzzles and a high chair. Easy check in process, and just a couple minutes to the lake by car or on foot. One night there was a dog barking, otherwise the place was perfect. We especially loved the bathtub and board games.

Comfortable. Bedrooms were amazing and comfortable. Beautiful decor and fully functional kitchen. I will absolutely visit again. We were so busy with wedding plans I forgot to take pictures. Pictures that are shown on Vrbo are accurate..so much better in person.

First, I would like to share that the inside of the home was comfortable and clean. Although the outside was less than desired. We had planned a barbecue with friends who were staying locally and the exterior drive up could best be described as ghetto and the perimeter of the property is dirty, unkept, and would not yield having anyone come and enjoy the outdoors or barbecue. The barbecue area was full of bird poop. The chairs were full of bird poop the tables full of bird poop. Nothing has been cleaned or maintained for sometime. The listing did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. The host did not return phone calls or text messages and when she did return an email it was delayed with zero follow up.

Although we do our best to keep the outdoor spaces clean, the home's forest setting means natural elements can affect them between guest arrivals. We've since replaced the outdoor furniture with options that are easier to clean, and we're making changes to our local management to help improve the overall guest experience. Very Nice Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the your property. About the only thing that would have made the stay nicer would have been use of the garage. I have an expensive fishing kayak that I had to leave outside at night and while we were gone to town. But other than that the place worked well for us.

Fool Hollow's Lake at your back door

The cabin is very nice and comfortable. The owners have taken a great deal of trouble to make sure the guests have all they need in kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, etc. the beds are very comfortable with nice rayon sheets that feel good on the skin. If I had to give a number for cleanest, I would give it number 9 out of 10 and I am a real clean freak. The neighborhood is not the best, but there were no parties or any noises. It was very peaceful. Even the dog that has been mentioned did not bark at night. The fact that Fool Hollow's Lake was withing walking distance if you go down the small hill and into the dry creek and across the road to the lake was excellent. We spent time fishing (no fish because they don't stock it in the summer, at least this summer) and the hikes were nice. The fee for the host was quite expensive when you consider you have to take the sheets off of the beds, throw the towels on the floor, do up the dishes and empty the recycling and garbage. We try to find different cabins to rent each summer. If there were none to rent, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here. It is all of the above that I mentioned. Oh, they even have a room to play games. There is a cabinet with lots of games in it, which we didn't find out until we were there for two days. They have everything. The dominoes aren't all there, but there are more games to chose from. They even had a first- aid kit. Very nicely set up for two people to a larger family atmosphere. Great job!
