Bay of Islands Family Getaway

Nestled in the heart of Haruru, our three bedroom home is the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends. With a beautiful deck facing the native bush of the Opua forrest and only a 5 minute walk to Haruru Falls and a local craft beer brewery.

A short drive away you have Paihia township where you can enjoy the beach, restaurants, shops and bars. There are plenty of things to do in the local area such as the Waitangi Mountain bike park and numerous boat tours exploring the Bay of Islands.
The space
Our 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home offers an open plan kitchen with a long buffet style bench top, a large couch to relax on and a family sized dining table to enjoy dinner and a board game in the evening.

Our spacious back deck catches the morning and early afternoon sun making it the perfect place for BBQs and outdoor dining. The deck also has a gate to securely close and keep the kids or dogs safe within it.

The master bedroom offers a large comfortable kingsize bed

The second bedroom has a queen size bed

The third bedroom has a King single bed with a trundle which can be folded up and joined to the original bed to create a kingsize bed or left on the floor as a single.

There are two extra sleeping options available in the living room, one on the couch and the other on a mattress on the ground.

The bathroom offers a shower/bath combo with a seperate toilet.

There is also a seperate toilet attached to the garage outside that can be used.

Out the front is a beautiful fish pond with a running waterfall to relax to.

This is our home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we get to.

- Sliding front gate to securely fully fence property (2 people required to operate)
- The backyard is a work in progress, we have fenced off the areas that cannot be accessed
