Experience spectacular water views from every window and a true luxury experience in the heart of Apollo Bay. Sleeping up to 10 guests, Apollo's Rest offers a rich, restorative space curated with your comfort in mind. A fully equipped kitchen awaits the home chef, whilst the garden by the ocean calls those looking to get back to nature. Two large baths and an indoor fireplace settle you into your accommodation as you get ready to explore the delights of Bruny Island!
The space
This beautiful home has been clad in macrocarpa pine and is situated on a sloping hill, with large windows offering stunning water views from all rooms.
The central living area and kitchen are open plan and have been styled in a neutral palette with comfortable, plush couches and a dining table for meals. At night, watch the flickering firelight inside in front of the newly installed fireplace, or outside around the fire. The kitchen offers a large stove and oven, a coffee machine, Tasmanian oak bench tops, stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped for your use.
Bamboo flooring throughout the home extends out to the gorgeous deck which can also be accessed through the Master suite which has a comfortable King bed. The private bathroom includes a walk in shower and a free standing bath positioned right under a window!
The second and third bedrooms are also blessed with incredible views and have built in wardrobes. One bedroom houses a King which can also be converted to singles, and the other bedroom has a Queen bed. There are 2 queen fold out sofas for extra guests as needed.
This property is home to abundant wildlife including wallabies, quolls and possums and has been extensively landscaped. The surrounding gum trees provide a peaceful retreat for families or couples looking for a very special getaway.
Laundry facilities include a washing machine and dryer, and a BBQ grill is available to use on the deck overlooking the D'Entrecasteux channel above the gardens.
Guest access
Guests are able to use the entire house.
Other things to note
Please note, the third bedroom is always set as a king bed unless you request 2 singles.
The 2 green lounges fold down to beds but these are only for additional guests added as you will need extra linen.
