"Sea and Country" is a beautiful space created by Helen & John specifically to relax and enjoy the stunning coastal and country views of Kiama and surrounds.
We welcome guests from all around the world, families, couples and singles, to explore nature and coastal life in our piece of paradise.
Whale watching, fishing, kayaking, swimming, surfing, golfing, walking tracks, fun runs, yoga, art, festivals ( jazz & blues , country music, folk, food and wine), cafes, shops and much more..
The space
The new stylish apartment is on the lower floor of a 2 storey house. The design is minimalistic. It has two (2) bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed which can be converted to 2 long single beds upon request. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. This room has ample space for a cot which is available upon request.
The living area has a Scandinavian style oak dining table, bali relax chairs and a very comfortable queen sofa which converts to a queen bed with innerspring mattress upon request. A room divider screen is available to create an additional private sleeping space.
There is a flat screen Smart TV and free NBN broadband Wifi.
The apartment boasts a fully equipped kitchenette with sink, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, stove top, oven, and coffee pod machine. A small Weber BBQ is located on the deck.
We are now providing breakfast cereal and juice, along with our standard goods of fresh milk (we have added a vegan option of Almond milk), coffee pods, tea, raw sugar, shortbread biscuits, chocolate treats, fruit bowl and some condiments.
The bathroom has a luxurious freestanding bath where you can indulge in a long relaxing soak. The bathroom is wheelchair friendly with separate shower, bath, toilet and large double basin vanity.
There is solar reverse cycle heating and cooling with fans.
A laundry with large washer and dryer is available upon request.
All appliances are new and energy efficient.
There is a large deck (with a round cement table and rattan chairs) from where you can sit back, relax and take in the views of the iconic Kiama headland, Bombo beach and the rolling hills of Saddleback mountain.
Free parking available on the right hand side of the driveway closest to the entrance for your convenience.
Guest access
You are able to access all over the first floor except the laundry.
You have access to the front yard.
Other things to note
Please note we live upstairs so some noise is to be expected when we are at home too. The house is a large two storey home and you have your own separate space and privacy.
We have a dog Jack that sleeps in the garage (separate to the guest area) and we take him to the beach each morning. We will be as quiet as possible though you may hear us leave via a side gate.
Also note:
1. There is an additional cost if you wish to use the laundry, $10 per load.
2. Please bring your own cot linen & blankets.
