Impeccable property. Not mobility friendly. Limited kitchen tools. Great for family with teens who would love the theatre/playroom; not ideal for 2 couples as 2nd bathroom is in basement (steep stairs). BBQ no longer available. Lovely patio (no view); very steep driveway and many stairs to cottage. Perfect to relax, unwind and slow the pace. Owners on premises and very friendly.

We were there for our son’s wedding and our stay at the cottage made it very memorable. A couple of minor suggestions…allow the guests to control the temperature and maybe a full length mirror. Great accommodation!!

Amazing Stay

We rented this beautiful cottage for a short stay with our daughter and her husband. As soon as we walked in, we wished we could stay much longer. It was immaculate and had everything we could have imagined, including a home theater which my husband loved. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place for our family to stay. Peaceful paradise found

2 days in this gorgeous, well appointed property was not enough! The 4 of us really wished we had time to stay longer, we would definitely book again when coming back to the Victoria area. We especially loved the wilderness creatures coming for.a visit (bunnies and deer)

Amazing!

This property is beautiful. The house was incredibly clean, everything looks brand new. The rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was a great way to relax. It is also extremely quiet in the area and provided a nice escape from the city. While sitting in the hot tub we got to watch deer and other animals wander through the yard. It was great! The house is very high tech, with motion sensors for the lights and Alexa control for many other things. Overall, this place was wonderful. It had everything we needed, and was super close to Sidney, which is a really cute town. I would definitely recommend this property.

Family Getaway

This house was perfect and beautifully decorated!!We decided to extend our Christmas vacation a couple extra days. Everything we needed was there and super accessible. Everyone was at our finger tips!!! The neighborhood was nice a quiet. The basement was so cool too. It has an old movies theme with pictures of old movies on the walls, such a neat place to spend our time watch tv!!! We also enjoyed looking up at the stars while enjoying late nights in the hot tub. We will definitely be back and would 100% recommend this house!! An other bonus is that the ferry terminal and air port are a 10 minute drive away!!

Beautiful cottage in the woods

This “cottage” is so perfect, away from the crowds, in a beautiful, serene area. Yet it is only minutes away from all the amenities of civilization. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, modern conveniences and the outdoor hot tub which was a super treat. But probably our favorite was the pool/theater room in the basement. It is decorated in great style, with many movie posters and references to the theater. And the pool table was a beauty, with cues and a scoring board. The large screen and movie projector along with several choices for things to watch just made our after dinner entertainment perfect. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions. We would LOVE to come back again for another visit.

Wonderful house but steps may be a problem

Everything about this house was wonderful but you need to know there are steep steps inside and out. I didn’t realize there was not a picture of the front of the house. We were two couples all in our 70s. The stairs were a problem for some of us. Especially when bringing in heavy suitcases. Also the two bedrooms are on the main floor but one of the bathrooms was downstairs, again a problem. This would be a great house for younger people with kids. Loved all the Alexa controls in the house. They truly have thought of everything. It is a beautiful home. We enjoyed the back patio but didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub. We would stay there again unless we were with someone that has a problem with stairs.

Best VRBO yet!

We have stayed in many VRBOs and this one is at the top of our list. My husband and I travelled with our 2 kids (ages 17&19). This age is hard to impress, but the accommodations blew their minds. Our favourite things were the theatre, the pool table, the smart house system for music, and the hot tub. Everything was immaculate and in perfect working order. The host had all our needs covered. For example, I was concerned about what kind of coffee system the house would have and what I should buy: K pods or drip. The house had both! Plus, instant coffee if I was in a pinch. We had a couple days of rain, and we had lots to do at the house to keep all 4 of us entertained. It was wonderful!
