End of the road feeling and great tidal views.

Upstairs section of a house with great deck views out to the Bay of Fundy. We were there Thanksgiving weekend and the quiet, end of road feeling was a nice way to spend the holiday.

We really enjoyed our time in five houses N.S. the house was awesome and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Also it was so convenient for visiting our brother (only 10 minutes away) we all had a super time and definitely would recommend and stay there again. Thanks for the great memories.

Bay of Fundy getaway

We booked the getaway around my mothers surgery, and the owner worked with us to do so - very appreciated! The unit has air conditioning - a must! We hit every thrift shop around, and fished numerous times - great times. Neighbours were very welcoming, and helpful.

Do not go, bad house and host

Please stay away from this property. Lots of spiders and bugs, house was not cleaned. Host is very rude and does not pickup phone. No help and remote area. All furniture is old and smelly. I have rude audio message from host that I will post soon. Not good stay on a vacation. Avoid at any cost.

This property is misrepresented. It is close to the basin, not ocean, not swimable, states it accommodates 10 but only seating for 6 at table,5 on the deck, and not enough cutlery. No fans in the bathrooms, no screens on windows facing the water, sleeping was quite stuffy for summer trip. The deck lights were all broken and well as the deck railing was wobbly. The upside was it was close to Parrsboro for the Fundy Geo Museum, Truro for the tide bore and Masstown Market.

Our Time at Five Houses

The property is right on the coast of the Bay of Fundy where the highest tides in the world take place. We were able to witness this phenomenon from the deck of the cottage. We found the cottage comfortable and well equipment for our stay. But while there you will want to be outside. Steps from the beach we enjoyed fishing for sea bass and walking on the mud flats. A great experience overall.

Beautiful Area, Great Location

My family stayed at this property for 2 nights and enjoyed watching the tides come in and out. Walking on the ocean floor was pretty cool too. The house was tidy and stocked with all the essentials. Beds were comfortable too. I wish the master bedroom had a screen for the patio door to keep the door open at night; would have made for a fabulous sleep hearing the waves. Neighbours were so kind and friendly. Nick gave detailed information ahead of time and was easy to communicate with. All in all, it was an incredible time spent here!

Extremely Disappointing Stay - Misleading Listing and Poor Experience

We had an extremely unpleasant experience during our recent stay at this VRBO property. Firstly, the view was highly disappointing and did not match the listing description. While the place was tidy, it had a noticeable odor that made it uncomfortable to stay. Additionally, the noise from children on the lower floor was incessant and hard to ignore. Despite being assured that the property had Wi-Fi, it was disconnected upon our arrival, and we received multiple, inconsistent explanations for this issue. To make matters worse, Nick Harvey-Pearson, who was supposed to be our contact, did not respond to any of my texts. Overall, it was a terrible experience. We had to check out within two hours of checking in and ended up going to a hotel instead. VRBO should ensure that their listings accurately reflect the actual conditions of the properties. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to lose trust in VRBO, and we will not be using their service again.

Rima is a real joke and she is almost not worth a reply. She stayed less than 90 minutes on site & during that time, we talked 4 times on the cell by text, twice on the phone. She proposed to get 75% of her money back and we agreed because nobody likes to deal with "terrorist" that treats you like a Karen and just complain non stop. Although we gave her all she wanted, well she is now still complaining, go figure lol. And what a liar she is. The views are exactly like it is on the pictures and even better since everyone says so. Also, she said we didn't talked and that is all we did in the little time that she was there. We sent someone to show her how the internet worked which has a light switch behind a grand father clock standing on a wall that we talked about in the instructions but she was gone. I wish VRBO would not give a voice to someone that stayed less than 90 min in our property, but overall, I think VRBO is amazing and I am grateful for all the other good guests.

Beautiful views, rental needs refinement

First and foremost, the views of the Bay of Fundy are breath taking. We marveled every day about the tides, and the amazing sunsets. The house was clean and comfortable for the most part, however it is clearly either currently a smokers house or formally a smokers house as the odor was noticeable. This should have been stated and was very disappointing. The property around the home also needed a decluttering. The communication was not good at all, as messages were not returned in a timely manner, our welcome message had the wrong names and dates included, and we received no check out communication. We could not find an outside garbage bin any where around the property, so did not know where to take our full garbage bags. The television was there as stated in the property description, but there was no remote to be found and no actual cable. The owner indicated drinking water would be provided, however we only received 1/4 jug for five people over 4 days (3 nights). The area was incredible though. There were so many things to do and see, and the house was a great location for getting to different hiking trails, beaches and other activities.

Sheldon was a great guest and it was a real pleasure to have him there as I was told by the cleaning team. That being said, the time of his trip was really tough for me as I was dealing with a pneumonia and was on extremely strong pain medicine bedridden and sick as a dog. So I am very sorry that there was a lack of big water jog and for the TV not having a remote. The water of the well is drinkable and that was mentioned in the instructions and the TV was only to be plugged with a Laptop to access Netflix or You Tube. Very sorry also for the poor communication as I was very hill, but a manager number was provided as well. Since then, we added a Nintendo Switch and we always make sure there is a 40 litres extra water jug on the side of the machine. Blessings to Sheldon and his family.
