Enjoy the local beach and rope swing from morning until night, it’s just a very short wander from the house. Take to the Lions Walk by bike or on foot or make the 3 minute drive and drop the boat in at either 2 Mile or 3 Mile boat ramp.

The whole home is yours to access and enjoy. You will have access to and use of the entire cottage including large veranda, private lawn and an off street carpark for 2 cars, or car + jetski/small boat.
Please note: the Bunk room is small with 2x 180cm bunks and side table.

We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.

This is a very safe and quiet neighborhood; we are 2 minutes walk from the lake and Lions walkway.

Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveler. The Mt Ruapehu Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1 hour drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.
