Unwind in the newly added hot tub, gather around the firepit for cozy evenings, dine al fresco, or take a leisurely stroll to Wellington Beach—where the crystal-clear waters will make you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean.

With its original hardwood floors and four charming bedrooms, this beautiful cottage provides the ideal escape, offering a peaceful sanctuary for both relaxation and rejuvenation.

John Alvin's is a generous multi-level home featuring 4 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 2.5 bathrooms. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates a bright and welcoming space, complemented by a convenient laundry room.

Outside, you'll find a charming front porch—perfect for sipping your morning coffee—along with a new spacious deck, hot tub, pergola and a large grassy backyard. There's also a cozy firepit area, ideal for roasting marshmallows and enjoying some stargazing.

The entire property inside and out is yours to enjoy. Parking is available in the driveway only.

The house is self-check-in so you can come and go as you please within the check-in and check-out time frames using the door code provided to you. We will not intrude on your getaway, however, should you find yourself in need of something, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Great spot perfect location. We loved the AC, hot tub, fire pit and back deck.Communications were excellent super fast response.Just a couple of issues: there appear to be wasp nests at the back of the house in the gutters. Once of our guests was stung twice and we saw wasps every day out back.The entire house was very clean and neat, but the fridge was very dirty when we arrived. We had to clean it before using it.Other than those 2 issues we loved the place and would stay again.

Nous avons passĂ© un merveilleux sĂ©jour en famille dans cette maison pleine de charme, idĂ©alement situĂ©e pour dĂ©couvrir la rĂ©gion. La maison est spacieuse, confortable et parfaitement Ă©quipĂ©e pour accueillir une grande famille. Tout Ă©tait propre et trĂšs bien entretenu Ă  notre arrivĂ©e.L’un des grands points forts de notre sĂ©jour a Ă©tĂ© l’accĂšs Ă  la plage de Sandbanks. GrĂące Ă  la passe saisonniĂšre fournie, nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la plage sans avoir Ă  nous soucier du stationnement – un vrai plus, surtout en haute saison !Le village de Wellington est tout simplement adorable. Entre les petites boutiques locales, les marchĂ©s de producteurs, le joli parc pour les enfants et la proximitĂ© du lac, tout est rĂ©uni pour passer des vacances reposantes et authentiques. On sent qu’il y fait bon vivre, et nous avons vraiment apprĂ©ciĂ© cette atmosphĂšre chaleureuse.Un grand merci Ă  nos hĂŽtes pour leur accueil et leur disponibilitĂ©. Nous repartons avec de trĂšs beaux souvenirs et nous n’hĂ©siterons pas Ă  revenir !

Book Club/Wine Lovers Ladies

We are 8 ladies from Ottawa that celebrated a special Birthday of one of us in PEC. We found this lovely four bedroom VRBO and had a wonderful time. The cottage was lovely with all the essentials you could ask for. We all slept comfortably with beautify bedding. Soft towels in the bathrooms. A outdoor fire was enjoyed one evening with plenty of firewood provided. We didn’t bequest but one was available. The living room had comfortable seating for all of us, plenty of parking and close to many shops galleries. We hired a limo and a enjoyed a fabulous day at a few of the Counties many wineries sampling some of the fine wines, distilleries and restaurants. For a large group this lovely cottage was perfect. We look forward to our next visit perhaps it will become a yearly event.

Getaway for 10’colleages/friends

We had a lovely time at Mercy’s cottage! Everything was very clean and beautifully arranged in her home where we easily accommodated eight of us, Including a nice big dining table, lovely kitchen, and the bedrooms were lovely! The Sisters

Easy walking distance to town and spacious outdoor space with amble seating both in the back yard and on the front porch. The house needs some TLC especially on the front porch. The BBQ was dirty and there weren’t any BBQ tools. An umbrella on the back deck would be a great addition as it is in the direct sunlight and not usable during the day.

Good vacation experience! Great location!

Excellent property, close to everything! Walk to water front, grocery store, shops etc. Very clean, well furnished and comfortable house. Unfortunately, the AC was not working and it being a warm day, and with a baby, it was an uncomfortable night. The host, Marcy, kindly offered us a refund for the first night and an alternate property with a late check out for the following day. We were comfortable there. We also enjoyed the late check out on Sunday. Except for the AC not working, everything else was great at this property!

We had a lovely time at CC’s Cottage. Marcy is a great host that answered all our questions. The kitchen is large and conducive to gatherings and the outdoor deck space is great for meals and hangouts. The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. We had a great time in the County!

Perfect Away From Home For Multi-Generational Family Get Together

This home is perfectly located one block away from the action of the Main Street and one block from the Confederation Trail. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate many cooks, and the dining room easily seats 8. There is a huge deck with lots of lounging areas, as well as a lots of grassy area outdoor games. We could not ask for a better place to stay.

Wedding in wellington

Cute house in good location, close to all amenities. Lots of room for our family of 8 and kitchen well stocked. The only things we found that didnt work were the can opener and the red umbrella on the deck. Great stay wished it could have been longer. Thanks Marcy for the late check out, it was nice to have a slow start after a late night.
