Stay in mountain heaven

Really enjoyed this property the owners where amazing hosts answered any and all questions in a timely manner the house was even more beautiful in person ! The scenery was amazing and it was so quiet and tranqul up there would definitely recommend this place will definitely book again in the future .

We have stayed at this property multiple times while visiting family in Tucson. We enjoy bringing our furry friend and the accommodations are perfect. The new fencing and backyard improvements are just an added bonus for an already exceptional stay. We look forward to booking again. Through the years the property has always been well maintained, updated and immaculate.

Spacious home with no neighbors

Loved the home and the property it is on. Very homey and comfortable. Lots of scenic views and options for sitting to enjoy the outdoors. Plus the weather was perfect!

Super clean, great location

Great spot close to downtown with a little more space and nature surrounding you. We saw lots of birds, including an owl. The property was immaculate and looked recently renovated.

Clean, fresh, relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

Absolutely the cleanest location we’ve rented to date. It felt like home immediately with all the amenities necessary to have a fabulous stay in Tucson and not be in the city environment. It will be our go to VRBO whenever we visit there from now on. No need to look further!

Marana Desert Getaway

This property is close to Tucson but feels miles away from everything. It is serene and beautiful. It is our second time and it was just as relaxing as the first time.

Darlene was fantastic! I found the bed in the master too hard for me so she ran right out and bought a topper which made me comfy the rest of the week. The living room furniture is incredibly comfy and the place is very well-appointed in every respect. We had absolutely everything we needed for a great week!

LOVELY!

This home was wonderful! Close to amenities, but secluded for privacy. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was exceptional stocked, everything was clean and modern - we had not one complaint. We have stayed in half a dozen homes in Tucson for the rodeo each year, and this one will be our #1 choice moving forward - for location, comfort and price! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Great home in a large property

The house was very clean and up to date, with all the needed amenities. The outdoor spaces were relaxing and the large property gave a wonderful view. Owners were happy to explain how things worked - fire pit and table. the location is close to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful, clean, and modern home with everything you need for a family. Property is a hidden gem full of blooms and wildlife. Plenty of comfortable seating to catch the gorgeous sunsets, stars, and mountain views. The dog run is a great touch! Close to food and shopping.

Well stocked, clean home with desert feel

One of the nicer VRBOs we have stayed in over the years! The house was close to a major intersection, so all conveniences nearby, but still had an "out in the middle of the desert feel". Loved the sunsets and fires at night. A few more of our favorite things: Clean! Very well stocked kitchen Lot and lots of coffee Water Pop Snacks Wood for fire

Best Place to stay in North Tucson

We had a fantastic experience with Darlene! The house is amazing - totally updated with LOTS of K-pods :-) Great views and nice large backyard for our dog. It has everything you could want - great access to the freeway, restaurants, washer/dryer, clean, organized, etc. There were 5 of us so there was plenty of room for all of us. Darlene responded quickly to questions and even had food and water bowls out for our dog. Would highly recommend and would love to stay there again!

Great escape in the desert

We really enjoyed our stay at the ‘Saguaro Hideaway’. The house was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Our hosts, Darlene and Cliff, were very friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the bottled water, a great selection of chips, coffee, cocoa, etc. left for our arrival. The property was beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. One thing not offered at many vacation rentals, that we were impressed with, was the Direct TV. We hope to return again soon.

Perfect Tucson Getaway

We stayed for 5 weeks and I can't rave about the property and experience enough. The owners, Mitch & Darlene, are truly exceptional human beings. Everything was perfect. The house was beyond clean on our arrival. I mean it was beyond clean. The outside areas (grill, umbrellas, seating, dining) are fantastic. The heating and AC, we needed both during our stay, were flawless which is not always the case in some places. The stove and vent hood are excellent. All the glasses and dishes match, not some hodgepodge of mismatched items picked up at random from thrift stores that we have experienced at some rentals in the past.There is top notch dining nearby as well.We watched hot air balloons rise and float across the mountains almost every morning and had incredible sunsets every night.We are booked for next year.

Beautiful vrbo

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to restaurants, shops, & hiking trails. The home was tucked away that it made you feel like you were not in the city. The home sat on an hill and had really nice views. The owners have done a great job with all the up keeps of the home. It was probably one of the cleanest homes I have stayed in. Lots of different areas in the home to relax and have coffee. The home was stocked with everything you would need. The owners were very nice in responding when needed. We will for sure be back here when we come back to Tucson.

Arizona Getaway

This house was perfect! Even though there were just two of us with plenty of room, it was in an ideal location for the parks we went to for some incredible hikes and to visit family. It was exactly as described and the owners were very prompt to answer a couple of questions. We very much appreciated the enclosed backyard so that we could enjoy it without any wildlife intrusion. The mattress in master bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. Some nice extra touches with bottles of water in the fridge and some snacks. The kitchen had everything we needed! We will definitely consider staying here again when we're in Tucson!!

Super clean and cute!

This property appeared to have been recently renovated with a very keen eye for detail. Keep your cleaners! The place was immaculately clean. The house was private and had beautiful grounds. The renter had everything stocked including shampoo and body soap in the beautiful bathrooms, as well as, coffee and spices in the kitchen.It was a comfortable place for our family and close to anything we needed. The only suggestion would be to have single beds in one of the guest rooms. My teen boys would prefer not sleeping together. And a king bed in the master would be better than the queen. But we would not hesitate staying there again.

My stay was over the top! We bought groceries at the local food mart and never left the house! We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights enjoying all of the amazing amenities available to use in the house. It was spotless, and quit. Darlene and Mitch were fantastic super hosts and would recommend their place and stay again !
