Great quick stay

The apartment was very nice. Exactly as pictured and in a great location. Being a part of a hotel is convenient as there is 24/7 front desk access. We have stayed at the Arya before via the hotel and this was a better space. Corner apartment with fabulous views.

Great Location Great Views

As a former Miami resident, I would say don’t stay on Miami Beach stay in Coconut Grove. Coconut grove is a fun location surrounded by Florida history and easy access to beaches, Everglades, downtown, shopping, and water sports. This location has fabulous views, a great workout room, and nice pool. The one thing I was unhappy about was the smell of marijuana just about every time I wanted to go sit out on the balcony, on the 15th floor. More needs to be done to inform guests that the hotel is non-smoking and to hold offenders accountable.

Amazing View and Location

The view from this place is so amazing you want to stay forever! The location is amazing too! You are walking distance to all kinds of things. The staff on the property are very kind and friendly. If planning anything before hand (a surprise for someone's arrival) it is challenging communicating with ownership beforehand. Also, planning checkin was unnecessarily complicated beforehand even though once we arrived it was very fast and simple. The property made a much better impression once I was there vs. planning before I got there. I will definitely stay there again, but next time not plan anything ahead of time for our arrival. There were issues around the apartment here and there, but nothing to keep me from visiting again. Just make sure to note any issues you notice with the owner.

Views are incredible

We enjoyed our 5 day stay here. Management company greeter was a nice touch. Breathtaking views made us really enjoy the location. Plenty of space for 2 people. Kitchen has the needed basics, plenty of towels and enjoyed our provided robes. The property has a nice pool and fitness center and pleasant front desk staff. Only complaints about this location is that the key cards continually quit and have to be rekeyed, PLUS our bolt lock did NOT lock. Maintenance was continually promised by the management company, and we were told the building had always responded to them before - but, they did not respond to this need. Luckily a safe is provided so our valuables were secured when we were away. But, we couldn't lock the door's bolt to an intruder from when we were inside and felt that should have been taken care of during our 5 day stay.

Great location and views!!

We loved our stay in Coconut Grove and the apartment. The check in was slightly delayed but once cleaning was done we were checked in quickly. The sunset and sunrise views and view of the water are amazing and the location ideal for walking to restaurants and shopping/marina. The pool attendant was great and very accommodating. Whatever issues we had management took care of promptly and efficiently. We stayed for a month and we were able to get another day of cleaning service. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Beware! Our Trip Was A Nighmare!

We noticed right away that the condo had several issues. It STUNK like mold, and we noticed that it had extensive water damage in the kitchen that obviously needed restoration work. The ceiling in the kitchen had fresh water stains all over and the floor below was warped and swollen. But those weren't the only issues. The condo was generally dirty and in disrepair. The light fixture over the dining room table was broken, as well as a light fixture in the kitchen. The walls were filthy and the master bathroom sink wouldn't drain, nor would the tub. The tub drained so slowly that I had standing water up to my knees by the time I was done showering. The maintenance people came and said that the unit had FLOODED just the week before! We had it reserved for 8 nights, and we DID NOT receive any kind of notice from the property managers about this! They should have notified us and allowed us the option to cancel (since it hadn't been properly repaired yet) or they should have found us another unit to stay in. Instead, they just allowed us to show up to a MESS. This was our 20th Anniversary trip that we'd been looking forward to for many years, and Miami Vacation Rentals ruined our first two days. The maintenance people weren't able to fix the sink - or anything else. The property manager refused to see that there was a problem, even though we told her over and over again (with pictures!) all of the issues in the unit. By the time the manager told us that we could get out of our contract, we had stayed two (very stressful!) nights. They thought it was very accommodating to let us out of the contract and only charge us for the 2 nights. However, we slept in a until that stunk of mold and should never have been rented in the first place. They charged us full price for the two nights, the entire cleaning fee, administrative fee, VRBO fee, and tax on the ENTIRE TRIP. So for two nights we paid almost what our entire down payment was, which was A LOT for 8 nights. They should have given us a significant discount for staying in that dump for two nights, because we had no other option. But they refused, and we ended up filing an investigation with VRBO. I would not suggest renting anything from Miami Vacation Rentals EVER. They ruined the beginning of our trip and cost us SO much money! We had to find another place last minute which was expensive, and there was nothing available in the area where we wanted to be. It was an absolute nightmare. Beware!

Excellent location and views

The condo is in an excellent location for walking to restaurants etc in Coconut Grove . Views were exceptional . Unfortunately , the air conditioning was faulty and we sweltered in 86 degrees in the apartment . This was very unpleasant and very difficult to sleep at night , so made our stay disappointing .

Stunning views and ocean breezes

This is a spectacularly-situated apartment. It's a corner unit with incredible views. The ocean breeze is amazing. The hosts were responsive and helpful when checking in. And they left a bottle of wine - THANK YOU! Very nice thought and we greatly appreciated it when we didn't want to leave the apartment because it was such a stunning setting. We did not use the kitchen or check out the pool, so can't comment on those. I'm taking off one star because there were a couple minor mechanical issues, but once they get those fixed, it'll be pretty perfect.

Unfortunately, When we arrived at the property at 8:30 pm the we waited for the hosts rep to show up and when he finally took us up to the room it was a used room with bed undone and towels piled up on the floor. He said he came by the day before and it was fine so he wasn't sure what happened. He hosted part of a dinner bill at the restaurant below while we waited until 11 pm to get the room sorted out. We were planned to meet friends out but instead were stuck waiting. When we finally got to the room it was fine but the floors especially in the bathroom had crumbs all over and no toiletries were replenished. Thank god I had brought my own soaps and shampoos. Even after I contacted the rep about this he said it would be take care of the next day but they only left a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. No hand soap etc. Needless to say it wasn't worth the price or hassle to stay at this apartment. I was hoping it would become a place we could frequent but we will not return.

Perfect views, airy and light

We just finished a week long stay in this unit and was very pleased. The apartment is small but well designed. We had the three large sliding glass doors open all day which let in a lovely breeze. The view of the harbor and ocean (out the bedroom window), as well as the view of Coconut Grove (out the living room window) are perfect. I never got tired of looking at everything. It should be mentioned that when all of the doors are open in the apartment the noise from the street, pool and park below is loud. It was too loud to sleep with the windows open and the air conditioner is a bit loud in the living room. If you are looking for a VERY quiet escape this might not be the place. The kitchen and bathrooms are in excellent shape and very functional. The TV is great and the pull out couch works well. The living room carpet is a bit dirty. The management team made check-in and out easy. Parking is easy because its located on the 4th-7th floors of the hotel that the apartment is in. The hotel has a great gym and pool, although the hallways look a bit tired. Our key cards deactivated a few times and the hotel front desk just kept resetting them. Other hotel guests had the same problem. We had such fun walking everywhere in Coconut Grove, and the location of the apartment is perfect. 10 minutes to the Fresh Market through a lovely park, 5 minutes to endless great restaurants. 2 minutes to Starbucks.

We started off as property owners and from the beginning, we have helped investors manage their apartments, always in authorized buildings and in accordance with county and state laws. I hold a Master in Tourism Administration and an Interior Designing degree. My husband is a Ph. D, an MBA, and a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker, and together we speak six languages, which allow us to interact with our clients like no other company. Awesome Place. The apartment is very well equipped and furnished by owner, an interior designer. We love what we do and it shows in every aspect: cleanliness, decoration with original paintings, full service, extras (wine waiting for you upon arrival). Yes, our apartment is very well equipped, uncommonly so.
