PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING YOUR STAY!

Our base price is for 10 guests. Any additional guests will be charged $75/person per night. Property maximum capacity is 13 guests.

Pet fee $50/pet for the stay. If you have more than 1 pet, please let us know before booking.

Please be respectful of our neighbours and mindful of quiet hours (between 11pm to 7am). Parties are prohibited. Your reservation will be cancelled if a party takes place or if the number of guests at the property exceeds your booked reservation. No refunds will be provided.

Absolutely NO fireworks on the property as it's illegal and extremely dangerous to the surrounding forest.

This chalet is located in a rural setting with no municipal services. We are on a well and septic system. Please be mindful of water usage. Kindly only flush toilet paper and natural waste.

There is one portal AC unit at the property. We encourage to open the windows at night as it cools down the cottage. We provide 2 fans located in each living room for additional airflow in the summer months.

Each bedroom, bathroom and living room has its own baseboard heaters.

Bedding and towels are provided for each stay.

Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, cutlery, cups, etc.

Starter pack of firewood for the outdoor pizza oven, outdoor firepit and fireplace is provided.

Such a beautiful, quiet location! We all had so much fun. Pizzas from the pizza oven were great! Lots of room to spread out; loved the ping pong table; kitchen is very well stocked; beds comfy; all around fantastic place to stay!!

Beautiful Getaway

A wonderful chalet and property. We loved our stay and would recommend to any who ask. The host was exceptional with communication and shared local tips to make our stay that much more special. The chalet is spacious and very well kept. All and all, a fantastic experience.

Great stay in Meaford

We loved our time at this family cottage. So many great bedrooms to make it comfortable for two families. Close to nice hikes and grocery store. More so, great communication with the hostess. She was patient to help us with all we needed and checked in on us to be sure we were good. A super new year’s eve experience

Best Cottage Ever

This was one of the most amazing cottage stays any of us had ever experienced! Such a beautifully designed and decorated home. Super clean and great amenities. Very spacious, lots of difference spaces to enjoy (fire pit, outdoor patio with BBQ, entertainment room, front yard). Very close to town and the lake. Really nice neighborhood. But what made it unforgettable our host Oksana, she was so helpful and always ready to answer all of our questions. So friendly! 100% reccomend coming here with your family or friends, it will be a stay you'll never want to leave!

Very poor property, low maintenance No air conditioning, Missing window screens as the owner described there’s no need for air-conditioning, but most of Windows screens were missing and broken. We Couldn’t leave the windows open as well due to flies.and when I reached out to the owner for more fence and explaining how hot might be inside before my trip. She suggested that we should sleep in the basement instead of the bedrooms. I got the feeling they did it by purpose so that nobody uses their bedrooms as a traveller paying I would wanna enjoy a property. The kitchen sink got blocked. I notified the owner which I believe down downstairs in the mechanical room. There was a problem because the red light was on they knew about it but they still wanted us to pay for a blocked sink Later the total of how to get more money, they said, we scratched and cook out he only served breakfast for ourselves, and we use the house pot and pans. The pardon pants are in a poor quality there’s nothing a visitor can do about it. As a traveler, I found this place and the host are a scammer. They are trying to grab more money from people in order to make more money and still not maintaining the property. This place is not for travelers.

Very strict BnB

The property was good but the overall experience wasn’t. Very indifferent host. I wouldn’t be listing the issues below had we not been literally asked to get out of the property at the exact check out time. So, If your stay is going to be 100% by the clock then go ahead. But please don’t expect the same from the host. You might be requested to delay your check in time. Also Make sure you are in good physical health coz the heater in the basement will require user’s effort and smart mind to start. You might also get locked out coz the shared code won’t work. The stacked cups kept for use might still have leftover coffee from the previous guests which will spill on your clothes. You will not complain about all this coz the cottage is nice but a request for extra time for check out and you will see no accommodation from the host. No apologies for the issues and no compassion. On top of that you will meet a rude and hostile cleaner waiting for you to leave the property. This is when you have let the host know 30 minutes before check out time that you will need only 30 minutes extra for check out. That doesn’t matter, even if you have a big group with kids, the weather is bad or you’ve had an emergency. All in all a very distasteful experience, all because of the property management. I have used many BnB services before but never have a seen this kind of behaviour from the property manager or staff. I won’t recommend it at all. Zero customer service.

Thank you for your feedback, Ruchika. Unfortunately 20 mins before checkout, we could not accommodate a later check out time as we had scheduled cleaners arrive at 11am for same day guest turnover. Sadly you denied entry to our cleaners for 30 mins which forced other scheduled cleans to be cancelled. The propane heater is not mandatory to be turned on as we have baseboard heaters in every bedroom, living room and bathroom plus a wood burning fireplace with self sourced wood from the forrest. We take pride in punctuality and respecting everyone's time. I am disappointed you had a poor experience and we hope you give us another chance.
