This property was lovely in many ways - it was set privately in a nice neighborhood. The home did have a well equipped kitchen, however you would need to bring all your spices, trash bags, napkins, etc. I feel these essentials would help a guest. The ice makers do not operate, so bring plenty of ice. The king suite is amazing - the other bedrooms are very basic. We had to purchase hangers as there were wire hangers and not many in the closets. I would recommend adding comfort to these other bedrooms, especially if you are sharing with another family (pillows, etc.). Also, we had to bring beach towels and beach chairs. The host was very accessible and friendly.

Wonderful home lots of space I had 14 ladies for 60th birthday some stayed the 4 days others left after 2 days so many things to do or just hang out & enjoy the home & yard….it was more than I hoped for. Very happy vacationers

Our stay was excellent. The property was beautiful and featured plenty of space for our large group. Sharon and Rebecca were both very friendly and communicative. The home is in a quiet area close to the beach. We would suggest this to anyone.

Awesome Stay at 238 Laudholm Farms

The property was immaculate, house beautifully decorated and was full of entertainment! There were books, board games, and arcade games! Our family enjoyed our stay and first time visiting in Maine.

Amazing kitchen & great room!

We truly enjoyed this magnificent home for our stay in Wells! The yard and hardscapes were great for all the young kids to play and the great room and kitchen/dining area was a constant hang out! The access to the beach is easy and the location in North Wells makes getting around a dream! Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing house for our family vacation. Space for everyone and room for the whole family to gather comfortably. Beautiful house, the pictures don’t do it justice. Great location, quiet and private. It was also great there were already infant/toddler travel cribs, booster seats, and other stuff for my 2 yr old so I didn’t have to worry about traveling with those extra items.

Exceptional stay!

This will be a house we always remember! The pictures do not do justice. All the furniture and bedding were top of line, you could tell the host made our comfort a priority. So much space to spread out with a large group but still felt cozy and posh. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect place for a large group

Family and friends stayed here for a few days before and after my daughter's wedding at Laudholm Farm. Absolutely the perfect location and wonderful accommodations! Plenty of room for everyone -- open floor plan was great! Whole bridal party got ready at the house before the big event, which was fantastic!

The house is absolutely amazing, plenty to do & see. It’s wide open, clean-just beautiful. The mountain display & video games kept the littles entertained! The 15 minute walk to the beach was great; nice private area. The hosts were very good at letting us know they were there whenever necessary. Checking was easy; everything went smoothly

Great vacation house!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this house during our trip to Wells this summer. The owners are very kind, friendly, and were extremely responsive to any questions throughout the booking process and during our stay. The house is lovely, and very comfortably accommodated our large group (ages 2 to 76!). It was also located centrally near the beach, great restaurants, mini golf, and other activities. our favorite part was the extensive seating available in the dining area, which was so helpful for our large family!

I would have given this home an excellent, but we had a couple issues. For the positives, the owner met us and gave us a tour of the house when we arrived. The house was large and comfortable enough for seven people. The location was central to all our New England activities. The negatives were as follows: we felt the owner was monitoring our stay with smart sensors on the heating/electrical controls. She texted me the first morning to let me know she didn’t like the heat controls on our ductless units and asked me to be sure to change them! Also, we were given one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, two garbage bags, no basics like coffee filters, spices, etc.. for a six-night stay. The ice maker was shut off. As previous Vrbo owners and Vrbo travelers, we felt this place lacked the basics that travelers from across the US should not have to bring/buy.

Fantastic space and location!

What a wonderful visit! Sad to leave Maine for the hot and humid south. We appreciate your hospitality and the accommodations afforded us during our stay. It was a most magical week/weekend for our family and having a home base from which to launch the wedding festivities at Laudholm, host dear friends and family, and relax at the end of each day made a BIG difference!

Something for everyone!

The property is novel in that it includes a gym area, an arcade, and a theater room. The youngsters in our group especially enjoyed the theater! The kitchen provided all the utensils, dish ware and pots and pans that one could need. The outside yard was spacious, and we set up a volleyball net (our own) which was fun. I would recommend this rental to anyone!

THIS PROPERTY WAS MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE PICTURES SHOWED-IT WAS A PERFECT SETTING FOR 3 GENERATIONS TO LIVE VERY COMFORTABLY WHILE ENJOYING BEING TOGETHER IN ANTICIPATION OF MY GRANDDAUGHTER S WEDDING AT THE RED BARN. An excellent place to stay!!

Me and about 12 friends stayed here for a bachelor party. Every single one of us was OBSESSED with this house! There is a ton of space, a huge yard, and lots of beds & sleeping areas. Everything inside of the house is so nicely put together, you can tell that a lot of work has gone into it. The owners were very, very nice and super easy to communicate with. It is close to a number of different restaurants and other places if you are looking for activities. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!!

What a great experience!

When you walk into the house, you are stunned by how accurately the pictures portray the beauty of the home. It is easily the cleanest VRBO home we’ve ever stayed in. Communication with hosts Sharon and Rebecca was excellent. They were very supportive throughout our stay. The check in and check out process was effortless. My younger kids loved the video games in the lower level arcade! The older kids enjoyed the jetted tubs. If you are a nature/animal lover you will love the backyard visits from the wild bunnies, birds and other animals. You are .5 from Big Daddies ice cream and a fantastic prime rib at the Bull and Claw. This place has it all to say nothing of it’s proximity to various beautiful beaches. Trust me when I tell you, you won’t regret staying in this “beautiful mansion” as my kids call it. If given the chance, my family and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
