The Somerset Dam Retreat is the perfect place to escape and relax. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the historic Somerset Dam Village & minutes from Lake Somerset, it’s a gorgeous holiday house for family or friends wanting to get away.

Surrounded by mountains with adjoining acreage views, it’s the ultimate location to unwind. Perfect for weddings at Coronation Hall only 300m away plus a boaties dream with "The Spit" just a few minutes drive down the road. You'll love staying at this beautiful location. (But sorry.. you’ll have to leave your pets at home!).

The cosy house is beautifully decorated with quality furniture and a modern country feel. It offers 3/4 bedrooms, and can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. All linen is included. The master offers a queen bed plus ensuite, the second bedroom offers a double bed and the combined third and fourth bedroom has a double bed plus 2 sets of bunks (aka "The Bunk House!").

Out the back is a great place for families to come and unwind with an open bar, fire pit with seating, outdoor dining table, and it wouldn’t be a holiday without a BBQ. The area is perfect for winter nights by the fire or summer sunset views over the mountains.

Our stunning main living room looks out to acreage views through french doors, and has plenty of seating for everyone. A wood fireplace adds to the ambience and keeps those winter nights cosy. Entertain the family with a TV, DVD player with a large selection of DVD’s and board games for the kids and those competitive adults! This room is south facing with the combination of air-conditioner and fans to cool the place down during summer.

We also offer a second living zone (aka "The Reading Room"), the perfect place to relax and read your favourite book, chat with friends or have some time to yourself.

They say the kitchen is the heart of the home… well in this case it sure is! With views of both the front and back of the house you are always part of the conversation with four bar stools at the bench. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including an oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, kettle and toaster etc.

The dining area has a beautiful timber table with bench seats and head of table chairs.
