In our modern and updated Huron Waterfront Cottage we offer a great size HOT TUB and with Outdoor Shower to to wash and dive in and enjoy your moments. Our 6 bedrooms 3 baths and fully kitchen and huge dining area provides great opportunities for the families to cook/bake together and put it either inside or outside on the table and enjoy their meal in a patio which is by the kitchen and is facing to a amazing view of Lake Huron. The comfortable setup , having a huge above ground deck by the view of the lake, having a fire pit in the huge backyard by the Lake has created a very fun and romantic environment for the guests to enjoy amazing view of Lake Huron sunset in the evening. The families in our private white sand beach are able to swim, kayaking, fishing, canoeing and more. In addition, We have a huge backyard for having special events like birthdays, anniversary, family union, small weddings, bachelor party, business meetings or gatherings, also families having opportunities to use our huge size outdoor to swimming and play sports like soccer, volleyball, football and more in our backyard . Fun times

Was a beautiful property nice beach although the stairs going down to it were dangerous they need to be rebuilt also bbq tanks were empty cost me 40 dollars to get a tank One of my friends stepped on a fastener going down steps it went through his shoe and into his foot overall it was a great stay

Nice cottage by the beach.

Family had a great time at the cottage. 16 of us including 3 children. -enough sleep spaces without the ground floor (which I knew we would not get after speaking with host) -1st floor bath has toilet n shower only, main is full -enough towels, bedding, toiletries etc. -all appliances inc. tv, wifi, A/C worked without issue except BBQ ignitor, which we got to work using a lighter found in kitchen drawer -some indoor amenities listed that were not there: fireplace, fitness room/equipment, wood stove, pool table, ping pong table, foosball. Few kitchen chairs were not sturdy. -would be nice if window sills were cleaned (there were a lot of dead mosquitos and bugs) -backyard was very beautiful and spacious. had lots of fun there. beautiful sunset -no issues getting to beach, not recommended for elderly or people with lower mobility issues -water/kayaking was good. Watch for random big rocks when entering water. Can't play catch due to rocks -jacuzzi not avail., no heated pool, or bikes

Hi it was nice to have you in my cottage, the gym supplies and folded ping pong and other games is in the entertain room , because of the very hot weather nobody was using the hot tub and wood stove all the hot tub supplies are on the shelf for use with the supplies I’m glad you had a good time 😊

Dirty and old

This place had so many issues. The toilets didn’t work properly, only the upstairs bathroom flushes. So if you think you can have more than 5 people to this property - please be aware! The host put up an ad with a bunkie, which was on our arrival locked up cause the toilet apparently flooded everything and we were short of beds. The garage has the worst smell. It smells moldy. No one can possibly stand there for more than 5 minutes let alone sleep there as suggested by the host. The beds had sand on them and were dirty. Other than the master bedroom, all the other mattresses were seriously bad and old, everyone complained of back issues. Tried telling the boat that we needed more rooms like the bunkie as described, or at least a partial refund should be issued and she said have a nice stay. Communication is at a level of 0. It’s just sad that this beautiful location is so poorly maintained. Would not return or recommend.

Foraiyah as I explained to her if she has 14 guests which I don’t know is 6 bedrooms with 12 beds and extra couches and mattress is enough for number of people and I explained to her never bunky was in to any gusts to use all was 6 bedrooms.She left open umbrella with windy day and unwashed dishes in the kitchen but I did not mentioned in the phone conversation she called couple times she mentioned she was happy I really don’t understand this kind personality? With the smell bc of hot days and Monday is the garbage day and being weekend guests and leaving the garage in the garage could be smelly but we have a garbage been to store and garage door and other two doors to clean the air options are there.

This was a message sent before the trip. I was assured that everything will be cleaned:Good morning I am just now reading some reviews on your property (I know I should have done this before) and noticed the reviews are not very good. The reviews are from 2023...have anything been done to the property since then?I hope it will be cleaned when we get there please. One of the reviews said it not cleaned at all.I would hate to disappoint my family and friends. We are all really looking forward to these few days away FaazyaHere is a list of all the problems I have encounteredupon arrival to the property:- Some of my guests arrived at 2:45 pm and had to wait outside as the house was still being cleaned. At 3:12 pm the kids needed to use the bathroom- BBQ is dirty (picture)- dishwasher dirty and unusable - microwave covered in food splatters - coffee maker is too dirty to be used- beds were not made. Blankets were thrown over unmade beds which means the beds sheets were not changed. this morning everyone complained there beds smelled .- hot tubs doesn't work (everyone was looking forward to using the hot tub)- Towels are old and smelly.- A used bar of soap was left in the bathroom for shower and a used shampoo and conditioner bottle .- towel rack will soon fall off - there is dust and cobweb everywhere. every surface is covered in dust.to be honest I am very embarrassed that I brought my family to this place. the experience has been very bad so far.

Looking for Cleanliness or organization? Then this is not your cottage.

Pros: Beautiful sunsets. Great beach. Large Yard. Large upper deck to hang out on. Open Kitchen. If the price was lower, I could look passed some of these other things. The cottage has a lot of potential. Cons: Organization - The day we were to arrive I called for the door code and one of the questions asked was “How long are you staying?” This was a red flag… On the Thursday of our week, a second family from Scotland showed up! They had booked it 9 months ago. They had a wedding the next day and had no where to stay. Double booked. Cleanliness: Sand in beds (were they even cleaned?) Down stairs bathroom was not cleaned at all. Rugs could use a good cleaning. Kitchen needs deep clean. Odd smell in the lower guest room… could go on but I won’t. Things to know if you are looking to book: Stairs to beach are treacherous - missing sections. Two people in our party could not safely enjoy the beach. We were told that the upper area is meant for 18 people, I would say it would sleep 14 comfortably. No storage for your clothing - the owner uses every drawer to store things. There is one full bathroom up stairs, the second one is barely useable and the sink was not hooked up. - Shared space with laundry so if you are over 6 feet you can’t sit on the toilet. Finally I would say that because it is listed more than once with different pictures, descriptions, prices points it is deceiving and extremely difficult to know exactly what you are getting.

Dear Carrie thank you for your comment, just wanted to let you know which after staying 9 days when we came back for cleaning you left the kitchen in a big mess and all the dishes were not in the right place and organized with having two vacuums and all the supplies. The washroom sink’s order was arrived I was waiting for your staying then after we fix it which we did today. The smell of the room because of the garbage was stored all Mondays are garbage day and with your staying I wasn’t around for your privacy , anyway I’m glad you enjoyed your staying.
