We did let the guests know ahead of arrival about a small dry-rotted section of the front porch, which isn't needed to access the house, and we're glad to say it doesn't affect entry or safety of the home itself. This issue was found shortly before their stay and we didn't have time to get it addressed prior to their stay. The property is located in a remote area with a mix of paved and gravel roads, which is noted in the listing, and we always send a welcome text encouraging guests to arrive before dark for that reason. We didn't hear from anyone during the stay about cleanliness concerns, so we weren't able to address that in real time, but we take that kind of feedback seriously for future stays. We're glad the value came through and hope future guests looking for a quiet, remote getaway find it a great fit.
