Perfect Ski Trip Getaway

The location of the property is less than a 5 minute drive from camelback resort with a gorgeous view of the mountain from the back deck. It was wonderful to come back to the house after a long day of skiing to a fireplace and hot tub. Would definitely stay at this place again for future trips to the poconos.

This place was amazing , right down the street from Camelback. Ms. Pac-Man was a huge hit and the landlord was quick to answer any questions we had. Definitely recommend!!

It was so sweet they had left a meal for us to make. (We didn’t but it was my h appreciated.) all of the toiletries were included which was super nice and easy. It was a very nice place to stay. Absolutely beautiful! Would recommend!

Quiet Clean & Spacious.....but nowhere to dump your trash

The property was wonderful. Beautiful views of the surrounding areas. We loved that it was quiet and secluded but still close to the Camelbeach water park and other activities. It was clean and spacious with plenty of space for my family. I also appreciate that the property owner took the time to have food and toiletries available as well as games. Overall my experience there was excellent. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that there was nowhere to dump our trash. That is the only complaint. Other than that it was great. And we can't wait until next year.

Response from owner: "Thank you for your feedback! Directions regarding where and how to dump trash have been posted at the front and rear doors of the home; as well as, a map for the location of the compactor. The cleaners have been instructed to collect and dump trash mid-week for any guests staying for more than 3 days."

Location location location

Less than 0.5 mi from Camelback, in fact, great view of the slopes. Must be able to climb, stairs are very steep and has sunken main room. Do not recommend for kids under 5 or elderly due to stairs. Great for young skiers and those who want to cook at home. Instacart delivered groceries. Stagger hot showers/laundry/dishwasher to ensure hot water for all. Blacktop outside the door was iced over and slippery/dangerous on arrival but we bought salt. would rent again especially if mattresses were upgraded to more comfortable. Owner responded very kindly and quickly to text messages, left snacks/toiletries, and extra blankets. I was happy with this house.

Great for a short trip!

My family and I would have enjoyed this property more if it were for a short stay! We travel often, and I have never left less than 5 stars. I do feel bad, but feel compelled to be honest. The communication with property manager was fast and great. The property however was not kept well. It was not clean to our standards. The check out instructions require guest to do all dishes- whoever stayed before us put pots and pans back dirty. I assume the cleaning company didn’t check for accuracy. We ate out because the stuff was so dirty. We unfortunately had to clean them before leaving out of fear we’d be blamed for someone else’s mess. Floors had foot prints dried on them. Dust everywhere. Stains on bedding. Also property managers left out cute welcome basket with snacks, but unfortunately every single snack was expired. Not by a few days either, 3-6+ months expired. Due to the price of cleaning fee and the nightly rate, we expected a cleaner property. Also I said short stay because the beds are super cheap and hard. After two nights, my husband and I were exhausted from no sleep. We ended up at a hotel for one of the nights before finishing our stay there to catch up on sleep. Between the hotel and eating out this was our most expensive family vacation. The property really could be great for hosting with a few tweaks.

Very close to the slopes and all the attractions. The house has a very nice fireplace. Lots of steps. The third bedroom is up in the attic and was kinda nervous as my daughters are only 6 and 4 however they loved it and were very careful

Girl's Weekend

A group of high school friends converged on this delightful property this past weekend. The location is great - in the woods but not too far from town. The views must be spectacular during ski season - you can see Camelback's slopes from all floors. There were helpful signs all around the house to assist with turning on the heat and expectations. We would definitely stay again if looking for a house in the Poconos.
