Located on a quiet country road, surrounded by farmers’ fields, prepare to leave the real world behind you. But don’t worry! You’re less than five minutes from lots of amenities, including a general store, great restaurants, seasonal shops, kayaking, cycling rentals, and seasonal shops.

The cottage has everything you’ll need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen has been fully-equipped by a Red Seal chef and his wife who loves to shop! You’ll have everything you need to create your own culinary masterpiece—pots, pans, utensils, and even a blender for morning smoothies! There’s even a slow cooker for your use, so you can start dinner in the morning and it will be waiting for you when you return from a day of adventuring around the Island.
Eat your meal casually at the bar, take it to the screened in porch, or dine alfresco on the balcony! If you’d rather grill for dinner, the cottage has everything you need to prepare your meal outside. Nobody wants to spend their vacation doing dishes, so just toss them in the dishwasher!
Serendib has been lovingly remodeled by a couple who relocated to PEI from a different island—Sri Lanka! Having enjoyed such wonderful hospitality since settling here in 2008, it only feels natural for the Induruwa couple to host others who find themselves in this beautiful province

As the evening winds down, relax by the outdoor fire, or lounge on the deck for stargazing. Without any light pollution, you’ll have stunning views of the Milky Way. How many constellations can you find?!

Everyone will be tired from a day at the beach (Serendib is a short drive to several beautiful beaches, including Greenwich and Lakeside), playing golf (there are many world class courses nearby) or exploring. After a soak in the tub, the kids will love climbing the ladder stairs to the loft-style bedroom (there’s a bedroom on the main floor for the mobility-challenged).

Two screen doors in the loft provide a beautiful cross breeze so everyone gets a good night sleep to rest up for another day of adventuring in Prince Edward Island.
