Just minutes to the historic town of Saint Andrews-by-the-Sea, the beautiful 3 bedroom water front cottage is the perfect place to relax on your summer vacation. Enjoy the magic of the town of Saint Andrews, but enjoy the quiet and peaceful location of this beautiful beach house. The sprawling deck with amazing gardens allows you to relax and enjoy your time as soon as you step foot on the property. Walks on the property or on the beach help you connect with nature, if you are quiet you will encounter wildlife such as various birds, bunnies, deer, porcupine, and if you look on the river you will see loons, ducks, and if you are lucky you may even see sharks. You can scour the beach for sea glass and other collectables during your walks on the beach. If you love the water you may want to bring your kayak or just take a dip in the water on hot day to cool off. Then bask in the sun to dry off.

The cottage has everything you need to make the space your home. The kitchen is fully supplied with all your kitchen amenities. The deck has a full sized barbeque for your use during your stay as well. And if you don't feel like cooking on your vacation, there are several great restaurants just 5 minutes away in the beautiful town of Saint Andrews.

If you like the idea of kayaking, but don't have a kayak, let us know and we can refer you to a local company who will deliver one for you.

We want our guests to feel at home here, however, we expect you to also treat our home like your home. We hope you will respect our property like it is your own. Relaxing Retreat!

Overall, it was very homey plus a few surprises like freezies in the ice box and side by side recliner chairs for TV viewing. Great view from the spacious deck. Suggestions would be air conditioning and outside umbrellas for shade. Chipmunks wrestling was entertaining! Would recommend to others.

Panoramic Porch Views

We enjoyed a relaxing week overlooking the river. The deck is great with living room and dining area including a grill. We had most meals outside except when it was too wet. We saw rabbits, deer including a baby albino one, porcupine, red squirrels, groundhog and many seabirds. We loved the peace and quiet. It was such a nice place to truly relax. The photos of the house don’t even show how lovely it is inside. There was a claw foot tub which we never got around to using, a fireplace that we did not use and a pair of very nice leather recliners in the TV room. We brought our Apple TV and watched a few shows. The table was great for games and puzzles. We grilled and made use of the kitchen as well. We did purchase a smaller non stick frying pan for eggs and left that for future guests. Overall this was a fantastic home and provided us with a fabulous vacation.

That’s a wrap

This was our last stop on a two week vacation in the Maritimes. Coming from Ontario the opportunity to watch the tides was a great opportunity and a wonderful experience. We spent a lot of time at the waters edge collecting beach glass and shells after the change of tide. Overall the property provides a variety of relaxing areas to spend your vacation time.

Amazing rental property!

The Bayside house was even more amazing than pics, waterfront views of the tides, gorgeous gardens, floral scents were amazing when you step out the front door , the deck is huge and multiple comfy spots to relax, found lots of sea glass on low tide walks on the beach! Saint Andrews was so beautiful as well, lots of shops, great restaurants, pier and historic homes surrounding the town! St Stephens a 20 minute drive was fun, the old train station is a great brewery/ Resturant! We loved our stay and meeting our hosts/owners was nice bonus! Highly recommend!

We are semi retired couple who enjoys the outdoors. Vic is from the area and always wanted to come back to enjoy his retirement back home. To keep busy, Diane and Vic decided to build a couple of cottages which were added to 2 existing cottages located on the property. They love the location on the Saint Croix River, and enjoy giving families the opportunity to stay the this beautiful space surrounded by nature.

Vic and Diane have 4 grown children who they encourage to come and visit often. They love hiking, fishing, boating, gardening and entertaining. Vic and Diane live on the property and though they give you plenty of privacy, they might pop into say hello and to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Making wonderful vacation memories is something the want for you and your family. They are happy to make recommendations of things to do int the area. Depending on your likes, there is so much to do and see while visiting Saint Andrews.

This property has 4 cottages located on a large parcel of land. The beach house is directly on the Saint Croix river and the other 3 cottages have access to the beach as well. The beach is a great place to hang out on a hot day, or if you enjoy collecting sea glass or other sea collectables, this is the place to visit. The property is located 9 km from the town of Saint Andrews, so it is easy to take a trip into town for shopping, seeing sights, whale watching or heading out for dinner. There is also a grocery store in town if you need to pick up groceries for your stay. If you are looking for a quiet get away, this is the place for you! You can enjoy the sights of the town, but escape to the quiet seclusion of Sunset Point in the evening and get a great night's sleep.

One of the benefits of staying outside of town is seeing the variety of wildlife on the property. You can see deer, porcupine, wild turkeys, and many varieties of birds. If you make your way to the river, you may see some loons, seals, or even sharks. This property is a must see. Once you get on the deck, you don't want to leave. It feels like you are on a tropical holiday.
