This was the worst experience we had with a VRBO property and we have used VRBO for years. We were notified the day before that the property was not available do to a mechanical issue. We were in route from Colorado. They could not find us an alternative property that was pet friendly. This was unacceptable and could have ruined our vacation. We did get reimbursed but it took 5-7 business days.

We had a great stay in this cute condo in Bend OR. It had everything we needed but the bathroom sink would not drain. It was close to everything. Great location.

The condo is lovely, however our stay was not. Upon arrival the garbage disposal was nasty and required a good cleaning to calm the odor. The fireplace pilot light wasn't lit. Our final morning the power went out at 10 am. We alerted the property manager who let us know they would alert the team. When we returned at 7 pm (getting dark) our door code had been cancelled and we still had no power. After texting with Meredith we were given an alernate code. Many minutes later we were advised to try flipping the breakers. In doing so, the power box sparked, arched and no the power didn't come back on. We were then told they had no others available units. We packed in the dark and had to book ourselves into a hotel at our own expense. After 3 days we received a refund for our final night that we didn't stay. No other refund or apology has been offered. Its not just about the property, the property management ruined our stay!

Weekend in Bend

Wife and I wanted to visit Smith Rock State Park, so we decided to stay in Bend for the Weekend. The neighborhood / complex of the condo is nice, clean, and tons of walking / running trails all around. Location is a 5/5. Easy to get to but feel tucked away as well. Stores and restaurants nearby. The reason I gave cleanliness and accuracy of listing 3 /5 is because there was a lot of white dog hair or cat hair that ended up on our clothes, on the coach, floor, etc.. I thought we chose a "No Pet" property because my wife is severely allergic to ALL pets (even hypoallergenic). So she had to load up on medications all weekend...not good.The unit is nice as pictured and has most everything needed. Host and property managers are very responsive and easy to work with. Receiving all directions / info for the stay was seamless. There was something wrong with the ice machine...looked like someone dumped baking soda into the Ice Machine, powdery residue left in the bottom of glasses.
