Gut: Check-in
The space in the house was great and gave us room to spread out. However, the house is much more dated than the pictures lead you to believe. The backyard is not at all as pictured. We had looked forward to using this space but everything was falling apart back there. The dining room is a wonderful space to gather to but unfortunately one of the chairs was coming apart. The kitchen again has space which is awesome but the cookware was completely disorganized and old. The top shelf in the fridge is coming off on one side. We were worried if we put anything of weight on it that it would break. Also, there were no supplies. We had to but trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, etc. When we arrived, there was a horrible aroma coming from the garage which is not listed as available for use, but the door for it is in the kitchen and the smell was there for the first few days. Laundry was in the dryer when we got there too so we had to figure out where everything went and had to put things away. The kitchen was greasy on the cabinets and surfaces so we gave it a good cleaning before we moved in for the week. Also, we had to kill some cockroaches. Overall, I would say the property is okay, lots of space, rooms, and bathrooms, but the cleanliness, supplies, and furnishings were not as good as other VRBO’s we have stayed at.
