As you enter this lovely timber home up the double timber stair case you will be overwhelmed by the feeling of light and space which is intensified by the lovely high ceilings, white washed walls and open plan living. Your eyes will be drawn through the leafy Paperbarks, out to Dunk Island as you are lead through the glass bi fold doors to the wrap around verandah. French doors and timber casement windows throughout are perfect for a tropical holiday ambience. All bedrooms enjoy views to the beach and bi fold doors to leave open for the gentle sea breezes and sound of the waves lapping at the sand. Air conditioning for warmer nights and siestas is available in all bedrooms. The master bedroom with ensuite is located upstairs with the main living/kitchen/dining areas. The downstairs rooms are accessed via the external staircases and open onto the timber pool deck with stairs down to the lawn and beach. Downstairs is another ensuited queen bedroom, plus the third and fourth bedrooms downstairs share their own bathroom. The pool area has filtered sun for most of the day through the stunning paperbark trees along the beachfront. Magic Beach House offers fabulous views to Dunk Island. Wongaling Beach is considered by locals to be the central hub of the Mission Beach area. It offers a large range of the exclusive and sought after absolute beachfront accommodation on Reid Road and Koda Street. Beachfront properties are also available on Banfield Parade being across the road from the beach. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a gym, cafe and hair salon. There is a drive in bottle shop at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which has the Bendigo Bank a smaller Bottle shop, pharmacy and cafe. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. Dining out in Wongaling Beach – Mission Beach Resort offers bistro style dining, Spicy Thai Hut offers fab Thai food and there is the Italian, Cafe Rustica. The Mission Beach Monster Markets are held on the last Sunday of each month from Easter Sunday until November. These are located at Ulysses park at Mission Beach. This holiday home is 3.9 km to Wongaling Beach Shopping Village. It is recommended to have a car when staying at Wongaling Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach. Riding along the beach is a real treat.
