Secluded but convenient

Great location for a long weekend in Saugatuck and Douglas with family. Quiet secluded cottage with comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out.

Great except lake access

Clean and well maintained property with decent space tucked away with a lot of trees. Only thing I didn't like is that the lake access claimed is not really accurate, to get to a beach you have to drive around 15-20 minutes

Great space! Just as described.

We had a wonderful long weekend over Labor Day at this property. Loft was a perfect space for my teenagers and the three bedrooms made it so everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and large kitchen table for playing card games. We definitely come back and enjoyed our time.

Beautiful Lake House

Overall it was an incredibly beautiful property. We did wish there was easier walking access in the back yard down to the lake. We rented paddle boards and walked them down the hill and it was a bit overgrown. Other than that just amazing location, private and close drive to the shopping. We had a very fun, peaceful and relaxing time.

Great weekend girls trip

The property is exactly as described, the area is quiet but very accessible to anything you would like to do. The seclusion made it very peaceful. The fire pit was a great amenity as well. The check in and out process was clear and easy. I would certainly recommend this property and Unsalted Vacations to anyone traveling to Michigan!

Great stay, had lots of room to relax and do activities, lake is just a short walk away, if we were to stay again we like to see if adding stairs down the hill to the lake is possible (we had 2 pregnant woman with us) and if the area by the lake was better maintained, we had to walk through some pretty tall weeds to get to the shore and with the overgrown weeds came a lot of bugs we had to deal with, other than that it was a great place and definitely would recommend!

Perfect escape

This was a perfect week-long escape for city folk. Quiet and remote, while being close to downtown Saugatuck for dinner. Everything you want is on the property -- grill, fire pit, outdoor furniture & wild life (deer, squirrels and chipmunks) that come right to the front and back yards. Very good time. 10/10

Just as pictured!

This is a beautiful house! We had trouble finding it late at night and much to our surprise someone answered our call to help guide us in! There are plenty of towels, the house was very clean and well maintained. It’s a little out of the way but yet so close to shopping and restaurants. Best of both worlds!

Family get together

We had a few friends and family stay with us for the weekend. Property was wooded and private. It wasn’t super clean in the kitchen and there were a lack of cooking pans. Updated appliances and new beds. Plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay. Make sure to bring bug spray

Beautiful and peaceful wooded lot

This house is located in a beautiful, wooded area off the beaten path. The rental was very clean, modern and well-stocked with towels, toiletries etc. The kitchen is also supplied with everything you need and more. Do note that although the house is on a lake, there is no easy access. Between the yard and the lake is a steep, vegetation-filled drop-off. Neighbors were puzzled when we inquired about lake access. Overall, we highly recommend this house to renters seeking peace and quiet.

Peacefully and Beautiful location!

This house has a beautiful location and is set up nicely for a small group. The loft was a wonderful place for our group to hang out and play games. The large dining room table was much appreciated as it sat 8, allowing our group to eat together. Everything was very clean and we had a wonderful stay.

Updated House in a Serene Location

Loved this house. Completely updated in terms of decorating (just no window coverings in the main living areas) & appliances. Beautiful lot in a wooded, serene neighborhood. 10 minute drive to Saugatuck or Douglas. The only downside was the dirt/gravel driveway, so we were tracking dirt on the front porch and into the front of the house all week (made worse by rain during our stay).

Peaceful stay In Saugatuck

Great first time staying in Saugatuck. Saw lots of wildlife - deer, turkeys, black squirrels. Easy to get into town, Oval Beach, and breweries/restaurants. Very clean and comfortable home with everything you could need - all you have to bring is your food and you’re set!
