Ski day convenience
Our 2nd time staying in this unit with our three children ages 5 and under. We like the proximity to the ski slopes. Far from ski in/ski out, but within walking distance (a trek while carry gear, etc. Would recommend a wagon if you have young children). Condo is also near to the ski school. A bonus if you have a child to check-in at ski school first thing in the morning. Overall, condo is dated, but cozy and enjoyable space to wind down with my family especially with the fireplace on. Had to buy a lighter because the box of matches was empty. We stayed in December so my kids loved watching the snowmaking machines at night from the windows. Lastly, we did a two-night stay but didn’t come until the morning following night #1. We had an easy contactless check-in despite arriving outside of office hours.

Great location
The most ideal location if you're looking to lap the park with friends and/or family. Communication with the management crew was smooth as they were always responsive via text and phone. Downstairs sleeping area and bathrooms could use a little facelift and repair as it's a bit dated but still functional. Downstair patio screen door was broken but not a huge issue as sliding door was operational. Living space upstairs well kept and modern with most amenities you would need. Would stay again.

Our family enjoyed
If your primary focus is close proximity to Snow Summit, this is a good spot! Took 2 minutes to walk back and forth between the condo and ski lodge with our kids under age 5. Condo was clean and consistent with what was expected per the listing. Upstairs main living area is a comfortable space to relax. Property definitely needs some updating (as stated by previous reviewers) particularly in the bathrooms and kitchen— was fine for us as we prioritized location for upgrades.

Great Location
Unit is in a great location, right at the base of Snow Summit. Can walk to lift 1 in 5 minutes, and can ski right back to the unit. Location can't be beat. Overall a great unit, some small details could use some attention as the hall shower door needs some love as does the master patio screen door. It would be great to have some additional kitchen supplies like a larger skillet or baking sheet, but those are minor issues. If you're looking for a unit with Location in mind, this is the one.

Our team offers 24/7 support along with local on site offices and experience packages.

Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times during your stay and includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites, washing dishes to alleviate wild animals being attracted to neighborhoods. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, No Over Occupancy, No Loud Music, and No Street Parking is allowed in Big Bear homes at any time. This policy along with a rental agreement will be emailed to you immediately after booking and is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. No Smoking is allowed in any Big Bear homes.

Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles however we also recommend proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel.

Though individually owned and decorated all homes will be equipped with clean linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy of your property. Each home has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes, and a small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Your home will not be supplied with paper towels, coffee filters or coffee, specialty kitchen items or appliances, condiments or oils, bathrooms soaps or lotions and hair dryers.

There is no Pay-Per-View access or Ordering of Viewing options in any of our Big Bear homes.

No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control.

Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests.
