Escape to Taupo!

This cozy home offers beautiful views over Taupo, including the spectacular Mount Tauhara. These can be enjoyed from inside with a home brewed coffee or the undercover outdoor deck area, equipped with festoon lights for a relaxing evening.

Park up your vehicle in the secure basement (2 bays) and walk 5-10mins into central Taupo for a coffee/shopping via the well marked walking track. The track joins a lovely riverside/lakefront track. Alternatively, enjoy watching the hustle of town from the deck; the perfect escape to enjoy a break.

The townhouse is private and comfortable, with a great pressure shower, bath and a well equipped kitchen and homely touches for you to make the most of your stay:

A week in Taupō

The accomodation was great - clean, tidy, everything provided (and spares!), and a fully functioning kitchen. Easy access into Taupō & waterfront, and out for other day trips. As others have said in their reviews the property overlooks the main road - this might cause issues for a light sleeper.The downside for us was the nearby bridgeworks that had overnight work on 2 nights, as well as during the days. If that had been detailed on the property notes, it would have affected our decision to stay there and knocked my review down from 5 stars.

Very good location and comfortable accommodation's. Well stocked kitchen and attentive host. I would stay here again. Only complaint was the noise from the road. When the windows are closed, it’s fine.

Loved our stay here! The host Carolyn is very sweet and communicative, and had great recommendations for places to visit on our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable, it felt like home! The whole surrounding area felt safe, and was just a short walk into town and short drive to attractions like Huka Falls. The parking garage and washer/dryer were appreciated. All was quite comfortable for our short stay, but would absolutely serve longer stays well, also. Loved our time there, would absolutely recommend.

Amazing!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience! “Escape to Taupo” was the perfect getaway. From the stunning natural beauty to the endless outdoor adventures, every moment was unforgettable. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. We were here for the Ironman and it was the perfect location. Just a ten minute walk to the finish! The local food was a delight, and the people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone seeking relaxation and adventure in one incredible destination. Will definitely be back!

Stunning views from gorgeous home.

Private in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful overview of entire coast. Watching the sunset over Tauranga then seeing the lights coming on around the bay from the comfort of Carol’s home was the restful break we needed.Although not new the house felt new. Quality blinds let you choose between shade screens and total privacy. Great value for a wonderful home.
