PEACEFUL BEAUTIFUL FARM STAY 20 MINUTES FROM PRISTINE BEACHES

We've enjoyed living here for over 30 years. Now both retirees. Aussie Sam, from a programming career started in 1973. French Monique, from a language teaching career started in 1974. We love living in this area with thriving grassroot culture such as the weekly Farmers Market, various local and International Festivals (Music & Films). Free form Dance, free form Singing, cinema and theatre, listening to music, reading and meeting with friends are our main recreations.
Being involved in breeding cattle, taking care of the land and the property keep us busy and healthy, always ready to travel and go and see our dear extensive families in France, Quebec, Minnesota, Sydney and Melbourne, where we love spending time with our children (2 sons and 2 daughters in their forties) and our grand-children (3 adorable little girls from 3 weeks to nearly 6 years).

This piece of land has enormous value as it offers a spring, a rainforest with very ancient native trees (Bunyas, Davidson plums, Hoop pine grove...), eleven hectares of pasture, farm forestry and wilderness, spread over 3 ridges with creeks between.
And a 1912 original homestead, situated on a saddle point of the home ridge, safe from flooding and bushfires. We have renovated it for the last twenty years, carefully conserving the style of the early settler dwellings. (weather boards, corrugated iron roofs, wooden windows and French doors, bay windows...).

It is also located in a very peaceful and safe neighbourhood where community spirit prevails.
The Pocket itself is a unique sheltered area protected by high ridges, Chincogan and Tincogan Mounts within view, the ocean visible further down the valley and a back road through Mount Jerusalem National Park to the quaint village of Uki.
