Tucked Inn is a pet-friendly, 4-bedroom oceanside Corolla home in Ocean Sands, just a short walk from beach access and featuring a private pool, nearby community tennis court, and three newly renovated full bathrooms. Sleeping up to eight guests, this welcoming coastal retreat offers the ideal setup for family beach weeks and laid-back getaways with your dog.

Spend sunny days at the beach or beside the private, non-heated pool, then come home to relax on the spacious wraparound decks. Outdoor dining, a grill, picnic table, and outdoor shower make it easy to enjoy the Outer Banks lifestyle from morning coffee to post-beach dinners.

Inside, Tucked Inn offers a well-equipped kitchen, dining space, WiFi, Smart TVs with streaming, and comfortable gathering areas for downtime together. With a queen bedroom, a second queen bedroom, a pyramid bunk room, and a bedroom with two twin beds, this Corolla vacation rental gives your group a convenient and comfortable home base near the ocean.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and wonderfully comfortable for our quick visit to the Outer Banks for a wedding. Everything was exactly as advertised. It was our first visit to The Outer Banks, and we truly enjoyed our vacation. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We loved the Outer Banks and will return, but we would not stay at this property again.This was our first family vacation with our daughters, ages 2 and 1, and the property was disappointing. We found a dead rat in the laundry room, dealt with many flies inside and around the house, and saw spiders and webs throughout the property. The home and outdoor areas did not appear well maintained.The outdoor furniture was also in poor condition. Some chairs were broken, and the usable ones were so dirty that we did not feel comfortable sitting or lying on them.Village Realty’s response made the experience more frustrating. After we reported our concerns, we were told they would contact the host and see what could be done. We waited six days but received no meaningful follow-up or resolution.Because of the issues we experienced, I requested a slightly later checkout on our final day. Village Realty said staying past the normal checkout time would require paying for an entire additional day.We did not expect a perfect house. We expected a clean, properly maintained rental and reasonable customer service when legitimate concerns were reported.The Outer Banks itself was wonderful, and we made great family memories despite these problems. We will return to OBX, but we will stay elsewhere next time.

Lovely Stay

Our one-month stay at Tucked Inn was lovely. The location is convenient to the beach and the grocery store. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well organized had everything we needed to make meals. Our guests enjoyed themselves immensely.

House technology is a little dated (TVs and cable) plus no Kuerig. We enjoyed the house and the location.

Tucked Away Gem of the Outer Banks

We loved the area which was close to the beach. The house had many comfy touches and was very clean. It was great to have a bedroom on the same floor as the kitchen and living area for a senior member of our family. The pool and pool area were very clean. Plenty of tools in the kitchen. WiFi worked great. Many different options for TVS to connect devices. We had a wonderful vacation.

Check in was so easy. You arrive and punch in your code wnd enter. The only downfall was you often hwve to enter the code twice to have the door take it. The kitchen had what you needed but we washed what we thought wed use as alot fbr silverware, plates and cooking items were not clean. We also ended up purchasing a dpatula and broom as there was no full size broom available.

OBX Experience

The accommodations had a nice layout, and convenient cooking and dining utensils along with an explicit privacy-like atmosphere and in a convenient location to the beach and grocery store. Additionally, nearly all outdoor activities were reasonably close and definitely not an inconvenience regardless of the venue. However, the flooring, walls and wooden decks reflect the age although there was nothing unsafe about the property since the the rental agency promptly repaired soft spots throughout the exterior walkways shortly after are and ensured the pool was cleaned and readily available if we anticipated on using it. Overall it was a great experience and pleasant home although we recommend renting during peak season because of the cool weather.

Nightmare

Day 1 we noticed the tv was not working,there was no grill,pool chairs were filthy,leaves all in the chairs and around the fence at the pool, net was broken, it was also a big pile of leaves with hornets all around it. That in itself was a major concern considering my grandkids where coming up Wednesday night. Inside the home was beautiful BUT was very dusty, floors not sweep, it appeared there had been some painting going on. We contacted the manager on several ococcasions. Finally after several calls and messages back and forth we decided to just drop in. We spoke in person about our concerns and what a hugh disappointment our few days had been. We were told a grill would be out and tv fixed onTuesday. Needless to say Wednesday still no tv, no grill, no net, and the big pile of leaves with hornets still there. what we did get was an old picture telling us there is a grill on property after we clearly told them IT WAS not. And still no tv or net for the pool and hornets still there. So here we go starting Wednesday off with phones calls only to be told manager will call after her 1:00 meeting. I finally called village Realty.I was told the manger (Misty Huges) had left early.I asked if they could have her call me and was told after hours was her time with her family. We finally got tv at 11, grill at 5:30 on Thursday still no net and hornets still there and chairs never pressured washed like promised. We left Saturday 1 st thing. Village Realty owes me half my money back!
