We posted this little cottage in April 2022. It is situated close to the Southern end of the beach where the water is calm for children - a mere 300m level stroll to the beach and a similar distance to Pearl Beach café, Pearls restaurant, and local shop.

Amethyst Ave is a whisper-quiet, flat dead-end street - perfect for young children playing and riding their bikes.

The Cottage is on a flat level, North to rear, block. The large garden houses a beautiful Jacaranda tree, offering glorious shade in summer.

The cottage has a cozy relaxed feel with everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. With three bedrooms + a bunk room, the house is ideal for two families or one large family. It would sleep a maximum of 7 adults and two children in the bunks or 4 adults and 5 children.

There is a large living room and a small TV room in the middle of the cottage.

There is a covered patio off the kitchen/dining room with a BBQ and outdoor lounge. This space is perfect for rain, hail, or hot sunny days. There is also an additional outdoor lounge under the Jacaranda tree in the garden and a firepit that guests can enjoy.

The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of glassware and kitchenware. A coffee machine (plus capsules) and Nutribullet are also provided as well as pantry basics.

There are three TVs in the house, two are smart TVs and the other is perfect for hooking up gaming consoles. WIFI is also provided in the house. Three of the bedrooms have air-conditioning as well as the main living room. A Vornado fan/heater is provided in the bunk room.

There is one main bathroom and laundry within it. There is a hot outdoor shower and an outdoor loo which is neat and tidy and perfect for overflow for larger groups.

Dieses Ferienhaus in Pearl Beach liegt in Strandnähe. Ettalong Wharf und Anderson's Marina sollten auf deiner Liste stehen, wenn du etwas unternehmen möchtest. Wenn du dagegen lieber die Natur der Region bewunderst, bieten sich folgende Ziele an: Strand von Terrigal und Brisbane-Water-Nationalpark. The cottage was neat, tidy and clean with plenty of amenities particularly if you're staying with young kids. The first day was 43 degrees so great that we could walk to the beach at the end of the street. We were hoping to eat at the Cafe and restaurant with in walking distance so we didn't have to leave, but unfortunately they were both permanently closed so we did need to give into umina and ettalong for dining options.

Great spot for a holiday

Suzi's house was very comfortable and cosy for our family of six adults. Great location just a few minutes' walk to the local beach and a short drive to the surf beach or shops at Umina.

We had a comfortable stay. Home was cosy and had all that we needed. Beds were super comfortable. We felt at home. Close to a lovely beach and great location to take lovely walks. Would recommend any time of the year.

Cosy place to stay in Pearl Beach

We had a great weekend away at this property - the home comforts provided (including kids' toys and games, coffee pods, teabags and a well stocked kitchen) were very much appreciated. A cosy place to stay - easy (flat) walking distance to the beach.

Tranquil cottage close to beach

A charming cottage perfect for two families to share, location is super quiet and beautiful pearl beach a short walk. The host is a great communicator and has thought of everything, she has styled the cottage beautifully in a modern coastal theme. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, all in all we had a lovely couple of days away.

Peaceful family stay

We visited Pearl Beach for a week with my two small children & mum. We had a lovely time, the accommodation was perfect for what we wanted - a quiet break. Beautiful quiet neighbourhood, lots of birds and an easy walk to the beach & coffee shop. Lots of toys and space for small children too. Family friendly!

Beautiful beach cottage

House was perfect for our needs and presented as described and photographed. Pearl Beach is a hidden gem and the cottage is super cute, clean and well appointed for a beach stay particularly for an extended family. Walking distance to beach and cafe and short drive to shops. Fabulous space for a group

A group of local mums got together for 2 nights. The space is excellent for communal meals and the sleeping arrangements such that all had a comfortable bed. The outdoor toilet is a good welcome for larger adult numbers, when the indoor one is in use. Very well equiped in the kitchen and lots of games to play in the beautiful garden under the Jacaranda in November!

Awesome place

Wow! Thanks so much Suzanne for providing such a wonderful accomodation. Beautiful house with many spots for a yarn with friends. We had 7 adults and it fit us all comfortably. Great kitchen and barbecue. Short walk to the beach and cafe. Real winner was the fire pit in the back yard. So glad we found this place, really affordable too. Thanks again!

Lovely spot, with everything you need

Stayed here for a small work retreat, the place had everything we needed and then some. Very close walking distance to the beach and nature. Love that all linen included and there are basic spices, oils tea etc for our use. Suzi gave clear instructions for how to get in and even left us some wine and chocolates (these were greatly appreciated!). The only thing to be aware of is as it’s an older house there didn’t seem to be much insulation so it got quite cold inside. Thankfully there are reverse cycle a/c units to heat the place. Looking forward to staying here again!

We had a relaxing stay in a peaceful place.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The accommodation was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We thought an information folder would be useful for future guests to solve puzzles such as the location of some light switches, as we weren't able to read the host's email that included these details prior to our stay. We found the house very hot as the west-facing windows in the kitchen and living room had no curtains or blinds and we thought providing these would improve the comfort of future guests. Ceiling fans would also add to the amenity. We ran out of toilet paper on our last night and had to fetch the roll from the outside toilet. We liked the spacious garden and appreciated the location of the cottage a short stroll to the beach.

Hi Gunde, Thank you for your review. Yes, I provide the information for the light switches in the information email I provide. There is brand-new air conditioning throughout the whole house which is usually very effective to combat any heat. Thank you for your comments, I will take them on board.

My name is Suzi, I live in Sydney with my husband and our 4 children. We absolutely love Pearl Beach and relish the weekends we can escape there. However, with four children and their weekend sports, those times are becoming less frequent.

We are so happy to share this cottage and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. It reminds us of Holiday houses back in the day when life was much simpler. We hope you enjoy it.

We recently bought this little fibro cottage in late January 2022. We have bought and sold three houses in Pearl Beach as we have been waiting for a North Facing (to rear) block on Amethyst Ave, since originally buying here in 2018.

We hope you like the cottage - it’s super cute and I have attempted to transform it into the fanciest version of itself for you to relax and unwind. It suits our family of six plus the grandparents.

Pearl Beach is a very special place and we hope you love it as much as we do.
