Our freshly painted and beautifully styled home is yours to enjoy with your family and friends. Wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy a Nespresso coffee on the deck with the beautiful lake and mountain views. The house has been set up with guests needs in mind with comfortable beds and a smart TV in every bedroom to allow you to retreat and relax in private. (Refer to photos for bedding configuration) We include things to make your stay easy and to allow you to self-cater knowing there will be a fully functional kitchen with quality appliances, wine glasses and sharp knives. On the covered deck there is a large BBQ and outdoor furniture. To take advantage of the view, the house is elevated which allows for parking a vehicle underneath. The main living area is on level one and two bedrooms & one of the bathrooms are located on level two. Outside there is a separate large shed set up as a games room with a pool table, air hockey, TV, Stereo, fridge, darts and couches for people to enjoy. The house is only 200m walk to the waters edge and minutes drive to numerous boat ramps for fishing and water skiing. There is a local store in Goughs Bay for essential supplies, fuel and liquor. Mansfield & Delatite Winery are only 15 minutes drive. Enjoy what the region has to offer with many festivals and outdoor activities, including mountain bike riding, bush walking, 4WDing, snow and water skiing.

Amazing property with the most helpful and wonderful hosts. It is literally a home away from home - the house is beautiful, but also so well provisioned. Hanna and Anthony have thought of everything, and clearly go out of their way to make every guest welcome. The birds are a constant delight, and the views wonderful. There is so much to enjoy just on the property, but it is also perfectly located in a quiet spot but within easy distance of all the local attractions. We will definitely be back.

An absolutely gorgeous place. So nicely kept and Hanna the owner was receptive to every single minor request we made. We were a group of 10 and the house was perfect for a group that size. What a fantastic hidden gem

We stayed here with two families and it suited us perfectly. We had an absolutely fabulous time especially with the games room. The house was really well stocked with everything that we needed and Hannah was so accommodating and helpful. We would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Appreciated kitchen equipment....not just bits and pieces but good quality.The games room was a big hit as was the kayaks.Location was great.I would say the stairs to access the house could be difficult for elderly/disabled.

Home away from home

What a great host Hanna is the place was very clean , cosy and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. It just felt like home with a great view and peace and quiet . Lots to do around area or just do nothing. The boys were never bored thanks to the games room We loved it we will be back

Goughs Bay

We had an absolutely amazing time at Goughs Bay. The house had all the amenities we needed and went over and beyond our expectations. The area is absolutely gorgeous and in walking distance from the lake. Beautiful birds woke us up in the morning and we got to feed them and some even sat on our hands. This place is a really great place to stay if you want to visit the snow as well. Overall a great experience we will definitely be back.

Never disappoints

This was our second time at this property and it was just as fantastic as the first. Clean, warm and very comfortable. There had been some improvements to the entertainment room, which the kids loved and us grown ups were just happy relaxing by the fire. Feeding the native birds is always a treat. Highly recommended.

Easter ski trip with friends and family.

We had a lovely stay at Hanna’s (“Cooinda”)place. The home is set up beautifully for a getaway. The games room, the furniture and the lovely linen are just the obvious things. The bird seed (and wild friendly birds) and lots of open space with great views and excellent location all add to make it a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday. The kids had a great time with lots of outdoor space to play. We were all very comfortable during both hot and cool weather and we all had a really enjoyable stay.

Magic location

Check in process was seamless. Great communication from host. We had 8 people at the property including 4 teens. The house was a perfect size for us and was well stocked with all utensils (sharp knives) pans, bbq etc. The host has considered everything! We made use of the kayaks and games room and enjoyed feeding the parrots. Highly recommend this property.
