Nestled in the centre of town, this modern townhouse is 750 meters from the energetic Hobart waterfront, where you will find MONA ferries, the Salamanca Market and plenty of restaurants and cafes to sample. Woolworths, the Museum and Art Gallery, Theatre Royal and the Botanical Gardens are also within a five-minute stroll. Set across three levels, open-plan living opens up to a private balcony with a BBQ, while two bathrooms—one with a spa—and off-street parking for two vehicles cater to groups.
Groups will love this central location in the heart of Hobart and within walking distance of the city’s best attractions. The ground level is the hub of the home, offering light-filled open living. The kitchen features an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, cooking ware, crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils. Or opt for a barbecue feast. Three couches and a smart TV cater to your evening entertainment, while a dining table seats all 10 guests for meals at home. You’ll also find a front loading washer, dryer, detergent, clothes drying rack, iron and ironing board on this level.
Heading upstairs, you’ll fnd the first bedroom, set with a king koil executive extra long mattress and built-in wardrobes. Bedroom two, also on this level, features three single beds (two are extra wide) and plenty of storage space. The first bathroom is situated between these bedrooms offering a shower, vanity and toilet, plus complimentary toiletries.
The remaining two bedrooms are on the top level, with the third bedroom containing and extra long king size bed and ceiling fan. Bedroom four also offers three singles (two are extra wide), plus a TV, desk, hanging space and a ceiling fan. A second bathroom located on this level features a spa bath, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak after a day exploring the CBD.
Please be mindful of two long open-backed sets of stairs which are steeper than they appear (see photo) when booking for young children. Travel cot and high chair available upon request.
Easily accessible two car (one behind the other) secure off-street parking is located underneath the townhouse. The maximum vehicle height is 1.8 metres high. Please check the height of minivans, minibus etc. There are about 8 concrete steps up to the property, three to carpark and two sets of open wooden stairs in house that are steeper than they appear in photos.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
Located in Hobart's CBD, the townhouse is less than a 700m walk to Constitution Dock at Franklin Wharf and the MONA ferry. Salamanca is next to the wharf. Enjoy the Salamanca market on Saturday mornings. The townhouse is even closer to the Museum and Art Gallery of Tasmania. Further on but easily walkable is historic Battery Point. The Menzies Research Centre is a few minutes' walk away as is the Royal Hobart Hospital. There is a Woolworths next to the hospital (underground) and many retail shops, restaurants and cafes downtown. The Hobart Aquatic Centre and the Domain Tennis Centre are also close, within walking distance.
