Beautiful property! Very peaceful! We will be visiting again! The only suggestion I would have is to get the deck fixed. Lots of nails sticking up and there was 1 broken board that was replaced but wasnt secure and my right leg ended up falling through. I am ok just sore and scraped.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! The house has everything we needed for a comfortable stay for our family. The couple of questions we had while there were answered quickly. We had 16 people stay here for 3 nights. There was plenty of space for group meetings and plenty of space for private time. Check-in and check-out went like clockwork. The house was well stocked with all the essentials, like cookware, towels, etc. The indoor pool and indoor basketball hoop was a big hit, as was the ping pong and piano. Great location, plenty of privacy, beautiful scenery. Would not hesitate to return, yeah, it's that's nice.

This is our second stay at the property . Home is very spacious and was able to accommodate 13 of us . The property is beautiful, loved watching the horses . The staff were very friendly and helpful . The house is fantastic but could use some cosmetic repairs on the decks and pool . Amazing Farmhouse Stay!

We LOVE coming to this house yearly! We come with multiple families and there is so much to keep everyone occupied and only 20 mins to Hershey! Between the pool, game room and garage with sporting stuff, we never hear "we're bored"!

We loved our stay here to take our kids to Hershey Park! So relaxing with the horses,many things for the kids to do-heated indoor swimming pool-remember to pack your kids’ goggles.3 car garage to play basketball,balls were provided.Game room,foosball and ping pong.Smart TVs throughout the house to login to your streaming services.Sound bar speakers throughout parts of the house and pool area to connect music from your cell phone.Fire pit with wood provided.I did bring a lighter and “fire starter” sticks to help start the fire.You will also want to bring a lighter to manually light the grill but propane tanks are provided.The horses’ fenced in areas are very close to the house to be able to see the horses up close out nearly every window all around the house.Gorgeous living room- nice furniture,decorations very thoughtfully placed throughout the house including little chalk board signs to help provide instructions for things,light switches labeled,nice shampoo conditioner body wash amber bottles set up.To address the negative reviews,I would describe the house as comparable to staying at a friend’s home that is lived in rather than a 5 star hotel level of cleanliness.There are stains on the carpet but I didn’t feel like things were dirty at all.Stains in showers are from hard water,they are clean.It does have a sulfur smell as well water does.The fireplace is non-working,just for show.Decks need repair but still so pleasant to sit outside on.We would love to stay here again!

We had fun, horses were cool, basketball court great (bring your own ball), game room was a hit, plenty of space. We only stayed two days so it was fine but for the price, pretty disappointed in what we got. Surfaces and in between stay cleaning seemed to be done. Clean towels, sheets and extra blankets. The house desperately needs a deep clean though, they need to pull out old stained carpet, wipe down walls or paint. Showers were stained from the water and when I say stained, I am talking brown almostBlack anywhere water drips. Speaking of water it smelled horrible (old rotten eggs) we are familiar with this happening with well water but no one enjoyed showering or brushing their teeth with that smell. We couldn’t get the basement shower to a reasonable temperature and hardly any pressure so we used a different shower but again… the smell.The basement carpet smelled like animal urine. Most of the tiles in the basement ceiling were water stained. The kids enjoyed the futons but they were all sitting on floor cause it appears the legs were removed or broken. Pool walls were covered in mold, pool was very very cloudy… couldn’t see the bottom of the pool.The kids still swam though. They did provide towels.The smoke alarm was chirping when we arrived, received a response apologizing from the property manager but no offer to come take care of it. As others said the deck is in bad shape… was prepared for that based on other reviews.Overall, I would never go back.

Celebration of life for my husband Patrick

This was our 3rd time renting the ranch house. My husband discovered this amazing place for his Aunt in 2017, who is now battling Alzheimer’s that loved and adored horses. The Farmhouse is a middle location to our family in PA, VA and MD. My husband passed just recently to cancer and it was his 56 birthday and as a family we decided to come together to celebrate at the farm house he loved. We have great memories dear to all of us at your farm house. Thank youThe only thing that was alerting was that one of the garage doors was backed into with damages prior to our arrival which I was able to reach out to the owner of the home. I sent pictures to the owner but wished we were informed. We did find out that she wasn’t informed either so I was very upset for her as a homeowner who also rent a beachhouse property

Issues started the instant we arrived! Ice by garage, stairs to door not cleared properly. No access to the handrail causing me to fall and injure my ribs. No working fireplace as advertised. The pool area has mold growing on the walls. The pool was too cold to use! The sink and shower water smelled like rotten eggs and skunk. Worst was the white stains and dirty sock I found when going to bed in the master bedroom . We only stayed one night instead of four. I am now dealing with VRBO to get a refund for the three days we did not stay. I have gottenno responsefromthehost since the morningwe left. This house was in terribleconditionand we were mislead by there misrepresentation. . The pool was too cold to use. The water smell

Family getaway

The property is beautiful on the outside. The inside could use some work. We stayed during a very cold weekend and the heat was not able to handle the space. It was set to 65 degrees. After contacting the property manager, we were allowed to increase the heat but unfortunately the temperature in the house never made it past 68. The fireplace did not work and the downstairs was only heated with a small space heater. Given there is a bedroom with 2 queen beds and 4 futons in the basement, I wish there was adequate heat down there. The basement is huge and if there were more bedrooms instead of futons on the floor, a lot more people could be more comfortable. The bathrooms could use some improvements. The water has a bad iron smell and all bathrooms are heavily stained from it. The carpets leading and into the loft were heavily stained and need replaced. I wanted to love this property due to the location of being on a rescue horse farm. I hope they make some improvements to the space because it could be a fabulous rental.
