Bahama Bay is wonderful with minor fixes. The condo needs some more work but overall the price is well matched to what is provided.

Nice Place

This was my 2nd time staying at the Bahama Bay Resort. This condo and the prior one were both nice and well maintained. The resort premises was also nice and clean. The Tradewinds is an on-site restaurant. The food and drinks were good. The service was a little slow but the staff was very nice.

Family Run Fun

Our twin 30 something kids do the Disney runs each year. We have stayed at BB for about 15 years enjoying different condos and areas in the resort. We found this one very nice and convenient. Always a pleasure.

Property was nicely decorated, cleanliness was lacking a bit, my recommendation would be to clean the shower heads and the tub is the master was leaking water when we arrived. The condo could've been a bit cleaner, there were some cleaning details missed.

Lots of space

There are about 40 steps to climb to get to the condo. It was clean and spacious. The appliances really need replaced. The microwave and dishwasher have a fair amount of rust on the inside where you cook food or clean dishes. The insulation strip in the oven is frayed and looked like it could catch on fire. (I have pictures.) Other than those details the place was clean and comfortable.

Small Things

Location was great, resort grounds were very nice. The condo was lacking. Not enough towels, ensuite tub ran hot water the entire stay with its handles removed, the blinds were broken and couldn't be opened, the internet password provided was incorrect, no hangers in the closets, laundry room light didn't work. Bunch of little things that grouped together brought the experience down. All very easily fixable. Hopefully they take the time to do it.

Location great

The Host was very nice letting us in early since we arrived in town sooner than expected . The home was not clean at all . Food fingerprints everywhere , dirt all over the floors , honestly I was pretty annoyed how much I paid for cleaning service if this is the job that’s done . We had zero trash bags , dried paint on sheets in the bedroom. Pictures look great but this home is filthy , not sure if the owner even knows how gross it is. The pool area was awesome and give the Bahama Bay 5 stars but the actual unit not impressed at all

Family weekend

The internet was problematic in the beginning! The property manager, nor the owners knew the password. When we received it, it was very slow! Small tvs! No elevators, 3rd floor condo, but after researching the reservations, it did state that in smaller print! The door wouldn't lock, even after a locksmith was sent out. I was just ready to go!

Spring Break 2024

We enjoyed our stay at this unit, it was in a quiet and safe area. We did have a few issues which I brought to the attention of the property manager and he stated that it would be checked into but nothing was done. The bedroom with the queen bed in it did not have any light bulbs in any of the lamps and the ceiling light wouldn’t work either. Also the ceiling light in the living room area wouldn’t work. The screened in patio looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for quite awhile and having enough hot water for more than one person to shower or bathe was an issue. Hot water heater is too small for this size unit.

Good morning. When I arrived at the -------- 07-15 -2022 I was not very happy the living room sliding door do not lock the master bed room blinds one is broken on the floor I don’t want be responsible for. The side of the refrigerator floor was dirty there was just one set of bath towels in the master bedroom we couldn’t find the other towels we had to buy towel the socket by the dinning room table is broken . I have pictures I can email the to u and also the refrigerator where u get water and ice from under the tray was very nasty and dirty I cleaned it and. I took pictures to prove it.

Cleanliness and response times were not good

During the stay, we encountered several issues. 1st night there we noticed that the light in the locked closet in the master room was on all the time and I messaged for someone to come and shut it off. No response to this. The next morning the guests that were staying in queen size room could barely walk because the mattress was awful and was sagging so badly. Plus, the bed skirt had foreign matter on it that we just told ourselves was wax from a candle. We had to buy a mattress topper just to be able to withstand the duration of the trip (which we had to leave behind because we all flew). Half of the light bulbs were burnt out in the unit and there was not much room for people to sit in the living room when we had downtime. Overall, the stay wasn't horrible, but would like to see some better upkeep of the unit. We will be going back to this resort for the next 3 years, so we were hoping to find a unit that we loved to stay in each time, but that was not the case. I don't usually leave negative feedback, but feel that some changes need to be made for future renters.

Repairs Needed - Floors Dirty

I have stayed at other units in this resort and had no issues! This unit has not been maintained and we will never stay here again. Master bathroom garden tub had a leaky faucet and I am not talking about a small drip, hot water was a slow run constantly into the tub. Guest garden tub water was turned off completely and then when it was turned on, it had only 2 minutes of hot water. The shower in the guest bathroom had only 2 minutes of hot water and a VERY slow drain. Stood in several inches of undrained water during a brief and cold shower. This took a couple of days talking with the property manager to get a plumber into to fix issues.We were given the wrong code to get into the unit. We were given the wrong Wi Fi password. The condo was dirty. Our socks were black after walking across the floor. There were many light bulbs out. They still had Christmas decorations out (our stay was February). And this was a big issue....plumber can back unannounced on our last day. We were not notified that he was returning. And we were sitting out on the patio and my daughter went in to get something from the kitchen only to be very startled that there were men in our unit! So our last day we had to work around plumbers working in the unit. They had the water turned off for a couple of hours.Supplies were very minimal. Only one trash bag for a week stay. Very few towels and no dish towels at all. This was a very disappointing unit.We love this resort but will not stay at this unit again.

Yea, no!

I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend and I do. Ac was not cold at all! I get that when we first there it wasn’t cold, we just assumed maybe so, but the following day, I msg the property manager by Gary, who had texted me the morning of that we check in changed our passcode, if he could have somebody come by to check the ac I didn’t get a reply. The entire time our stay was miserable and hot at night bc we went out most of tHe day, but came back to a hot place since the ac wasn’t working. Gary did not answer me back at all about the ac. I had to re read everything in my email to be able to contact somebody from Evolve just to get the ac fix. I had called the front desk at the resort to see if they would send somebody, claimed they did but nobody ever show up until I contacted Evolve, and it was already our last night there. The whole experience was stupid. Along with that when we first got there, somebody left their leftover takeout on the living room table as if they got done cleaning and just got up and left without taking it with them. The place would’ve been perfect if there was an elevator, if somebody didn’t leave their leftover, and the ac was working properly.
