The retreat has an inviting tranquil atmosphere with the river and native Jarrah and Karri forest a 3-minute walk away. A feature of the mudbrick home is the use of recycled timber from the Fremantle Wool stores, recycled Kiln bricks from Pemberton and a Toodyay stone floor in the lounge room. You’re walking distance to the hub of Margaret River!
There are four bedrooms, 1 x King size, 2x queen size and 1 x double/single bunk combination. All beds have electric blankets for your winter comfort. Three bedrooms are located upstairs with a new bathroom, large family area and balcony overlooking the gardens and yard.
The rambling gardens are a mixture of native and exotic plantings featuring several large trees that are native to the South West. The large wrought iron outdoor table is perfect for outdoor entertaining and it is common to view an abundance of birdlife that inhabit this area neighbouring Margaret River and its native forests throughout the day. Whilst in the early evening the white-tailed bandicoot might be sighted.
