Casa Matas is steps away from the white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of the Sea of Cortez in Baja California. From the private balcony, you can hear the sea stroke the sandy beaches and see the beautiful mountain range off in the distance. This private balcony is a guest favorite, as it provides a peaceful place to enjoy coffee in the morning or a cocktail as the sunsets.

When you pull up to this palatial estate, you’ll notice the large bay windows, romantic architecture, and detailed landscaping. Inside, the large living spaces, fully furnished kitchen, and formal dining area give guests plenty of space to kick back and relax. The open layout of the home allows up to 15 guests to spend time together comfortably, while also providing large spacious bedrooms and tucked away private spaces for ultimate relaxation.  The giant front porch is shaded, and serves as a perfect place for a family photo.  When you’re not exploring the area, playing in the waves or enjoying traditional Mexican food at a restaurant nearby, you can pull up a seat and enjoy the breathtaking view from your front door.

The chef inspired kitchen has all of the contemporary appliances that a modern family needs. A large island in the middle of the expansive kitchen provides extra counter space, a gas stove, and bar seating. A large fridge, microwave, whisper quiet dishwasher, and ample cabinet space makes this kitchen a central hub of the home and gives the chef of the family all of the tools they need to whip up a delicious meal for the whole group. Utensils and cookware are included, so all you need to do is make a quick grocery store run and this kitchen provides everything you need to make meals at home. If you want to mix it up a little bit, use the private BBQ grill to cook up a mouth-watering dinner for the family and enjoy it out on the private balcony as you watch all of the activity on the beach below. A formal dining room set right off of the kitchen is complete with a gorgeous glass top table and seating for four.

A large living area flows seamlessly from the kitchen and dining room, and has three large sofas for ultimate comfort. A second formal dining room is located just off of this expansive living room and seats four people. A tucked away twin bed under the staircase provides additional sleeping arrangements without taking up any common space.

There is a single bathroom on the bottom floor, along with two spacious bedrooms. One bedroom has a full-size bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The other bedroom has a bunk bed, with a full-size bed on the bottom and twin on the top.

The other bedrooms are upstairs. At the top of the stairs, the first bedroom is immediately to the left and has a twin bed. The second bedroom has two full-size beds and access to a private balcony overlooking the enchanting Sea of Cortez. The third bedroom also has two large beds and a separate balcony with an incredible view. There is a full family bathroom upstairs as well, complete with a bathtub and large vanity area. The final bedroom upstairs is the master suite; complete with King size bed, private living area, and a private balcony with unobstructed views of the beach. This room also has its own TV with access to premium channels so you never miss your favorite shows.  The bright and sunny linens and décor of each bedroom gives each room it’s own unique personality while tying the whole home together with a beach theme that constantly reminds you that you’re on vacation.

This incredible home offers guests over 3,000 square feet of luxury living space and offers all of the modern conveniences to make guests feel at home. There is room for three large vehicles in a gated and safe parking area, as well as room for two additional cars on the street. Guests can work, chat, email, upload pictures or browse the Internet using the free Wifi in the home.
