Nice property - Could have been better

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Spacious property with great views from the balcony in a great location. Overall, our stay was pleasant and enjoyable, however attention to detail was lacking in some areas. The whirlpool tub released fragments of mold when turned on; drained and tried again with the same result. The master bath shower had mold in the corners and the overhead light was out. Upon advisement, the property management company was responsive to our request but informed us that maintenance would not be able to address the issues over the weekend. The cabinet door handles, towel bars, and other hardware were loose. While none of these items are deal-breakers, it gave the feeling of being less than clean and maintained which is especially disappointing given there is a charge specifically dedicated to “cleaning”. Overall, we had a pleasant experience in Chincoteague but as the title of our review states, it could have been better.
