Modern and spacious kitchen/dining, 2 living, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms span 2 levels, with most rooms opening onto scenic lake view decks to watch the pelicans, swans and ducks.

The Space:
Blue Waters Lakehouse is a contemporary coastal retreat with garden gate access to Blue Waters Lake walking trails. Offering year-round appeal for resort-style living, it is immaculately presented and boasts sweeping views from its elevated position. The stylish interiors are flooded with natural light and offer unobstructed lake views. Open plan living with soaring ceilings and extensive glazing captures the scenic aspect from every angle, so you can admire the aquatic birdlife from sunrise to sunset. Meandering garden paths through Cypress trees and Silver Birches reveal quaint courtyards and outdoor sitting areas amongst vibrant flowering gardens and fruit trees.

Ideal for family holidays, friends or executive travellers, this exceptional property is set over two levels. Spacious living areas with leafy outlooks, sunny outdoor entertaining and a fully renovated kitchen are just some of the distinctive highlights. The elegant kitchen features a Wathaurong custom glass splashback, Corian benchtops, and quality stainless steel appliances, with views that make meal preparation a delight. Dine casually at the brekky bar or the large 10-seater dining table with climate control (RC-AC and electric wall panel heater), and easy flow to two decks.

Designed for easy lakeside living, the property embraces views from the huge upper and lower sun decks. The main upstairs living room has breathtaking water views, Smart TV (Netflix connectivity), RC-AC, ceiling fan and a striking gas log fireplace at its heart. Head outside to either the north veranda and courtyard, or the expansive deck to the south. A second living/rumpus room downstairs has a Smart TV (Netflix connectivity), comfy couches, books and board games. Direct access to the lower deck and fenced backyard gives the kids heaps of room to play, inside and out.

All bedrooms are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels. Please BYO beach towels. The large master suite is complete with King bed, Balinese day bed, RC-AC, walk-in robe and an ensuite bathroom with double shower. Wander onto the upper balcony and soak up the view before you start your day!

Downstairs are 2 more soothing bedrooms with RC-AC. A lakeview room has a Queen bed, and the other is furnished with beautiful rattan Twin King Single beds. These guests have a bathroom with a shower, spa bath and separate toilet, and a laundry with washing machine and dryer. *In addition, the living area has 2 x fold-out couches which can be used as a Queen bed and a Single bed if requested at the time of booking (extra linen fees apply).

Ocean Grove has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks around the lake, along the riverside trails or the beachfront.

Getting Around:
Blue Water’s Lakehouse is located on the Blue Water’s Lake Reserve, with garden gate access to the lakeside trail. You can walk or ride your bikes around the lake and see the ducks, birds and pelicans that call this place home. Walk to The Groove café for your morning coffee, and onward to the Barwon River walking trails. A short 5minute drive to the main shopping precinct (The Terrace), and Ocean Grove beach. Shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets can be found in three distinct shopping areas: The Terrace (main street), Kingston Village or Ocean Grove Marketplace.

Ocean Grove is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region.

Great location
Property was spacious with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space to relax. Very modern interior and loved having split systems in the lounge and every bedroom. Really good location with easy access to the lake from the backyard. 4mins drive from local shops and about 5 mins from the beach. My only issue was I think the property needed a mop of the floors and a wipe down of the kitchen benchtops, dining table and outdoor furniture. I wiped the benchtops and dining table with antibacterial wipes and I could see there was dust. The floor had hair, dirt and some dried on bits of food. The outdoor furniture was covered in lots of dust/dirt and I couldn't be bothered cleaning them so we didn't sit outside which is a shame because the views were gorgeous. There were also heaps of cobwebs everywhere on the outside of the house. The bedsheets and bathrooms were very clean though. I'm a bit OCD so I probably noticed more than most people. But we generally enjoyed our time. I just wanted to provide the feedback about the cleanliness because we would be keen to come back again.

Beautiful relaxing property for a beautiful, relaxing stay
The property was gorgeous - just as described, filled with natural light & beautifully toasty over a cold long weekend. The views & gardens were lovely - as was the walk out the back gate & round the lake. Beds were comfy & kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensil needs & a few handy pantry provisions - including some much appreciated pods for the coffee machine! Nice & handy to a kids playground at the end of the street & barely 5min drive from the shops or cafes. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Relaxing getaway
A beautiful house ,very spacious and clean. Great big decking with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed our leisurely walk around the lake each morning. Would definitely recommend this house to any family for the perfect getaway in Ocean Grove.
