Kayla, we take claims like this seriously and would like to clarify the items mentioned in your review:-The homeowners immediately had a professional team investigate the property for bed bugs or any other critters. The technicians did not find any evidence of bed bugs or pests, and this report was forwarded to Evolve as evidence. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home-We recently installed a new refrigerator and as the one removed was still in great condition, we placed it in the backyard to be moved to storage. However, this did not take place until after your stay. Additionally, we built a new six-foot wooden fence around the whole backyard so guests have more privacy and there was a small trailer with some leftover wood from the fence build. All items have been removed from the backyard and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have causedThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star stay we endeavor to provide our guests. - We're in the process of constructing a larger fence around the backyard, allowing guests to access the entire yard while enjoying enhanced privacy. Additionally, there are fencing supplies stored behind the shed, safely covered with a tarp. In regards to the paint chips, it's worth noting that the house is more than 50 years old, and the windows are the original ones. - We value the condition of our amenities and we apologize for the grill. We discovered that it could be cleaned, and the table and chairs often gather dust due to the local air quality. To ensure efficiency, we ensure to wipe down before each guest arrives. - For added comfort, the back bedroom has a ceiling fan with three speeds which provides ample air movement for cooling. - Considering the available amenities and spacious bedrooms for guest use, we are confident that you've secured an excellent deal with your booking of the house. Hi Franki, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but after talking with the homeowner, we'd like to clarify the following: - Our records show that two weeks prior to your arrival, Evolve sent you a pre-stay email, which included the check-in instructions and other information regarding the property. - Evolve is always happy to help answer questions or concerns for guests; however, we did not receive any communication, calls, or emails, from you before or during your stay. Additionally, the owner did not have any calls or texts registered from your number or any emails either. - We sincerely apologize you had issues accessing the property. Evolve, or the owner would have been happy to help you gain access to the property if you had contacted either of us.
