Staff was AMAZING! The condo was ok
First, I just want to acknowledge that everyone we interacted with were so helpful and kind. The condo itself is nice enough, a little dated, but not terrible. The building it’s in seems very dated, and the common areas could use a refresh. But the real issue we had was the odor. At check in it was unbearable. We opened the windows that we could and turned on the fans. We arrived quite late and were exhausted after a very long drive. Sleeping in the odor was really rough. The next morning maintenance came by and said that the unit had been vacant for a while and it could be the plumbing. So he ran all the sinks to clear the drains. This did seem to help (along with the doors open), but we were only there for 2 days. I hope for future guests, they can eliminate the odor PRIOR to guests checking in, especially with it being vacant for so long. Also, the dishwasher was broken, which we didn’t realize until it was completely full. The location was great, 10 minute walk to the village and gondola. We were there for Canada Day, which was a real treat! We did the Peak to Peak gondola rides and it was totally worth the price. Our stay would have been much more pleasant without the terrible odor. Thank you to the staff for being so responsive, but with a 2 day stay, there was not much they could do.
