Hi Samira We are so sorry to hear that Eco Garden Retreat did not live up to your expectations. You are correct that the property does not have flyscreens, but this is the style of the property. The easiest way to keep insects and mosquitoes out, is to keep the doors closed. Both the front and back doors do stay unlocked, and the back door does not have a keypad. To keep it unlocked you simply need to turn the latch on the back of the handle. The showers do not have screens (keeping with the style of property Eco Garden is), and this is depicted in the photography. Electric blankets are provided for use on the cooler nights. The spa was serviced and balanced by a professional spa company prior your arrival. The fact that you did not have any issues until the second night, indicates that activities from the first night may have had an impact (something as simple as spilling a drink in the spa can affect the balance). It is also important to note that at no time was our 24/7 on call Manager contacted about any issues. Had you contacted us, we certainly would have looked at this for you. The spa is in the garden area, surrounded by hedges. Lighting is kept to a minimum in the spa area for better privacy. BBQ utensils are provided in the kitchen galley. If you called our 24/7 helpline, we would have gladly pointed you in the right direction to find these. The ensuite shower has a smaller, Eco friendly sized hot water system, and is suited to 2 guests. The main bathroom services the bulk of the property. Once again we are sorry the property did not live up to your expectations Samira. It is a very unique styled property, which majority of our guests love.
