Welcome to 'The Blue Whale' in Kiama! This beautiful home (built new in 2018) is the perfect place for your next holiday, complete with infinity edge pool and self-contained cottage. The house has 4 bedrooms - 2 kings and 2 queens - and the separate cottage has a queen bedroom. The home has beautiful indoor / outdoor entertaining options, twin decks, a gourmet kitchen and more! You will never tire of sitting on the deck or in the beautiful open plan living area watching the ocean, the gorgeous Kiama coastline, the famous Blowholes and the odd whale passing by! You will see that no expense or effort was spared in the design and building of The Blue Whale - ensuring a spacious, clean, classic coastal beauty, equipped with everything that you will need for a perfect holiday!

Please note:

- Due to the high standards of this house and zero tolerance of party groups or excessive guest numbers, - - The Blue Whale is fitted with external security cameras that can be used to monitor guest numbers, if needed. There are no internal cameras.
- There is no free to air TV at The Blue Whale, however streaming services such as Netflix and AppleTV are available with your own log in details.

Summer Season 26/27 (18 December to 21 January)

Where will I be?

The Blue Whale is located on Marsden Head, Kiama, between the Little Blowhole and Easts Beach (your closest swimming beach). The home has lovely coastal views and is within walking distance of the Little Earth Cafe and local shops. Kiama town centre is also an easy drive, or if you want to explore the stunning coastal track, you can walk into town.

Built new in 2018, this property oozes style, luxury, comfort and great design. The pool is a fantastic bonus as well, as is the separate cottage with queen bedroom. Every guest is very comfortably accommodated, with space for everyone! The home also has spectacular coastal views, a quiet location, and beaches and shops within walking distance.

How is the property laid out?

The Blue Whale is a double storey main house with an infinity edge pool and a separate cottage.

The upstairs level of the house has a large ocean facing deck, beautiful open plan kitchen, living and dining area, a powder room and a second rumpus / TV room!

The lower level has all 4 bedrooms, with the king master having its own en-suite. The remaining king bedroom and two queen bedrooms share a lovely bathroom. An internal laundry on this level is for guest use, but the garage is private / for owner use only.

The cottage has a queen bedroom, bathroom, living area and kitchenette with sink and fridge.


Wi-Fi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?

This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.

Please note however that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.

What about outdoors?

The Blue Whale has double decks, one on each level. It also has a paved courtyard area between the pool and the cottage, and a front lawn area. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area can also be fully opened up to catch the sea breeze - all as per the photos.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

The Blue Whale main house has fully ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling. The cottage has plug in electric heaters and fans. The main house can also be opened up fully in summer to catch the sea breeze.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

High quality sheets and towels are provided at The Blue Whale. Pool towels are also provided, but please bring your own beach towels.

Parking for cars, boats etc.?

There is parking for 2 vehicles on the driveway. All other vehicles need to be parked on the street. Please do not park on the grass - thanks!

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Sorry, The Blue Whale is not a pet friendly property. Contact us for our list of pet friendly options, or hopefully you can find a pet minder so that you can come to enjoy this beautiful home!

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
