Welcome to Grosse Point Lane, your own private vacation destination in this tropical paradise. This is a three-bedroom, two-bath home with a heated swimming pool and lush tropical landscaping located on the mainland in a desirable gated residential community that is extremely centrally convenient: a 20-minute drive to Times Square at Fort Myers Beach, the Downtown Fort Myers River District, Regional Southwest Airport, and then just 25 minutes to Sanibel Island. There are numerous closeby shops and services. Sanibel Island is world-famous for its sea shells. Downtown Fort Myers, as noted, has the River District, many diverse restaurants, and the winter homes of Thomas Edison, Hendry Ford, and Harvey Firestone are available for tours. Community amenities include a clubhouse, community pool, jacuzzi, a pier on a lake stocked with fish, Bocce Ball, shuffleboard, and tennis courts. The home has ceiling fans throughout, complimentary WiFi, laundry room, and all linens and towels are provided.
This home has a two-car enclosed garage, as well as ample driveway parking. Enter through the screened-in front porch into a furnished foyer then into the open-plan living room, kitchen, and dining areas. The main living areas have tile flooring, with carpeting in the bedrooms. The kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of Corian countertops, cabinets, and everything necessary to create full-course meals if so desired. Just bring the food. Appliances are all stainless steel and include a dishwasher, 5-burner glass-top range with self-cleaning steam oven, above-range built-in microwave oven, and a double-door refrigerator with pull-out freezer drawer and water and ice dispenser in one of the refrigerator doors. There is an L-shaped elevated peninsular bar with four high-boy barstools on the living room side. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer and an extra freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with a round glass-top table seating four, bay windows overlooking the pool and patio area, and sliding glass doors out to the covered lanai. Also adjacent to the kitchen is the living area, furnished with an L-shaped leather sectional sofa with a leather ottoman on an area rug, opposite which is a credenza with a wall-mounted large flat-screen TV above. There is an extended seating area with mirrored walls, furnished with an over-stuffed chair and ottoman on an area rug. From the living room expansive sliding glass doors lead out to a covered lanai and the screened-in patio and pool area. The lanai is nicely furnished with a rectangular patio table seating four on an area rug. The paved pool area is furnished with patio rockers, a cocktail table, and an umbrella stand, and the rear of the home looks out into a tropical preserve.
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, nightstand and lamp, corner recliner, and a wall-mounted large flat-screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access out to the covered lanai and pool area. There is a large walk-in closet with a 5-drawer chest. The en suite bathroom has tile flooring, two granite-top vanities with lavatories and storage space beneath, a corner jetted garden tub, a nicely tiled walk-in shower with handrails and glass door, and a separate commode niche with door. The first guest bedroom off the entry foyer is accessed through double pocket doors and is furnished with a full-size bed, nightstand, and table with lamp. The second guest bedroom has two queen-size beds, a nightstand, and lamp, a corner rocking chair, and a 5-drawer chest of drawers. The hallway guest bathroom has a granite-top vanity with a lavatory and storage space beneath, a commode, and a nicely tiled walk-in shower with a glass door.

With its proximity to Times Square on Estero Island, there are also numerous restaurants and nightlife for your choosing if indeed you are able to tear yourself away from your own private paradise for a gulf-side adventure.
