Had to move from one location to another due to an unexpected malfunction with the air conditioning. But they were super quick to relocate us at no extra charge, and this house was even cuter than the last! Will absolutely book with them again.

The home itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the interior. The main downside was the exterior and surrounding area. We arrived to find a broken liquor bottle with glass just inside the car gate, and the nearby gas station made the area feel a little unsettling at first. While the property is gated, the pedestrian gate lock can easily be bypassed by reaching through the bars to turn the handle from the inside. The corner lot beside the house is empty and looks rough. We heard quite a bit of street noise, sirens, and car alarms at night, but a sound machine helped us sleep better. That said, the location was super convenient for walking through the Garden District, which we loved. And we ended up having a great time. Overall, a great interior with some drawbacks in the surrounding area.

Everything was in good condition. This property was perfect for our needs. The inside of this property was clean and comfortable. The only minor item that I would suggest for future guests would be to fix the front driveway gate to make it easier to enter. Thank you.

Gets better every time I stay !!

This is my second time staying here and it is so enjoyable. Pet friendly, locked gate , @ whirlpool tub !! Located close to everything boutique shopping - luxury shopping- amazing food . Host provides everything you need to just walk in and enjoy your stay . Thank you for a great place to stay. We will be back again next year.

Great house

Wonderful house. Very clean and nice. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we had absolutely zero issues and such a quick walk to the streetcar.

Absolutely charming and wonderful property

I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every second. We felt so safe with the locked iron gate as well as private parking with a fence! They had so many extras such as dishwasher with detergent as well as laundry soap if you need it . Do yourself a favor and book here !! Close to everything

Perfect vacation house

We were all family but 3 individual families..so each family had their own rooms. 2 bathrooms was great. House had all the extra one would need when traveling but don't want to bring. Very very clean. Large family table was great to sit around and share meals and stories. The kitchen had everything so we were able to prepare some meals. The washer /dryer was very useful. We will definately tell our friends about this experience

House was fine

The property was fine. There no pans in kitchen for baking rolls. Some electrical outlets were not cover, and a possible hazard for small children. Front steps ver steep and need a better hand rail. Location was loud and very sketchy. People appear to be selling drugs at service station less than half a block from house.

Great place, location so so

The place itself was great! Huge, clean,well appointed, beds all very comfortable! It is two blocks from the St Charles streetcar line and an easy walk to the Garden District and everything on Magazine street, Commander’s Palace, etc. If this place were on the other side of St Charles it would be unbeatable but the neighborhood isdefinitely a little sketchy. It is next to a vacant lot filled with trash and we saw at least one hypodermic needle and a sketchy gas station is one house down on the other side. But even though it looks rundown, they still carried craft beer and we had zero issues. Once you’re inside its great (just keep the shades drawn unless you want a view of the vacant lot). We were with our 4 kids ages 2-9 so on the one hand it had plenty of room for us and on the other, I didn’t feel great about the neighborhood witth my young kids and definitely wouldn’t have wanted to walk around at night. Overall, it was a good experience. Great to have the driveway parking and not have to park on the street.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. My apologies for the empty lot next door. Unfortunately, we do not own the lot and are waiting for our neighbors to build their dream home. New Orleans is certainly a "dont judge a book by its cover" city. I am glad you enjoyed the home and we hope to have you back another time!
