Bayside Port Melbourne Studio Apartment
Well appointed studio apartment in the best location! Just a 2mins walk to the beach, 3 mins walk to all the wonderful shops, bars and restaurants in Bay Street and a mere 5 mins walk to the Light rail which will take you directly into the city centre centre to enjoy all that wonderful CBD Melbourne has to offer. The apartment has a comfy leather couch, TV, unlimited WiFi, a king sized magnificent bed. Compact kitchen has a convection/microwave oven, airfryer, toastie maker, rice cooker as well as crockery, cutlery, glassware
The Space:
The apartment itself is a contemporary studio unit with a clever use of space and an oak herringbone hardwood floor. It is light and airy and surprisingly spacious.
There is a split cycle system used to ensure that the apartment has air conditioned cooling in summer and wonderful warmth in winter. It is private, quiet and cosy and a perfect hideaway and yet has ready access to the vibrant surrounding areas.
The lounge area has a 2 seater comfy leather sofa accompanied by a super comfy leather armchair. There is a large smart TV with access to streaming platforms using your own log in details as well as unlimited WiFi. The coffee table has a unique design and is large and functional.
The dining area has a glass topped timber circular table which has seating for four.
The kitchen is very compact and comes complete with toaster, kettle, convection/microwave oven, airfryer (also an oven and dehydrator), fridge with freezer and a rice cooker. There is a full set of utensils, knife set, cups, crockery, assorted glasses and plastic ware for your use. Common cooking ingredients are supplied.
There is a king sized bed which is super comfortable and supportive and it is dressed with freshly ironed, luxurious 1sheets. It definitely aids getting a better night sleep which is so important in your home away from home. Block out blinds are fitted to all the windows to ensure privacy and darkness.
A fold up full sized single bed with a slatted base and innerspring mattress is available for an additional $25/night - please advise if this is required as it is not supplied as a standard inclusion.
There is a dedicated office area that can also be used as a dressingtable. The apartment has plenty of cupboard space and drawers.
The bathroom is modern in design and the toiletries supplied are environmentally friendly and plant based. The shower has great hot water with good pressure. Bath and hand towels are supplied as well as a bath matt and flannel. Beach towels are also provided for use down at the beach.
A full sized 8kg family front loader washing machine is supplied with washing powder.
The apartment also has clothes hangers (6 standard and 3 trouser), a broom, mop, iron, ironing board, clothes rack and pegs.
Access to the studio is via a digital lock with a code unique to the guest supplied one day prior to check in. It is self check in so the guest can come and go as they please. There are 15 hardwood steps to get to the apartment proper and there is no gate at the top. Parents of a small child need to be mindful of these stairs and be super vigilant.
The guest has full and uninterrupted use of the apartment with no interaction with the host. Naturally the host is available to answer any questions or provide assistance if required.
