This superb property is a luxury oceanfront holiday home in the heart of Victor Harbor. So close to Granite Island, pubs, shops and cafes, Warland Reserve, Victor Harbor Heritage Trail, markets, shops and much more. Park your car and walk /cycle/scooter everywhere. The property has wonderful views across Soldiers Memorial Reserve to Encounter Bay, Granite Island and across the Southern Ocean.
Upstairs there are three large bedrooms. The main bedroom is huge (with its own lounge area and verandah) and has beautiful ocean views. Fall asleep hearing the gentle sounds of the waves lapping on the beach. The main bedroom has an ensuite, walk-in robe and a laptop-friendly workspace. The other two bedrooms share a main bathroom, with bath and separate toilet.
Downstairs are two large entertaining areas: the front lounge with picturesque views across the Bay, while the rear living, dining, and kitchen areas look to a fully enclosed covered courtyard. Downstairs has been designed to meet the needs of one of the owners, who uses a wheelchair. When measured against Livable Housing Design Standards (Australia, 2017) the downstairs area is rated Gold.
Part of the downstairs entertaining area includes a sofa which can be converted to a queen size bed. This area can be closed off via a curtain. The large bathroom downstairs has been renovated to include grab rails, drop down shower seat and accessible hand basin. The laundry is accessible via the bathroom.
There are two TVs, Netflix, and Wi-Fi internet, as well as books and games. The open plan kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and coffee pod machine. Stepping out the back through double sliding doors to the covered outdoor dining area with gas barbeque, gives a private courtyard. There is a secure carport and garage which are accessed via roller doors from the rear laneway. The property has ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning on both levels (and in each bedroom) for year-round comfort.
