The Wonders of Back River Beach House

Back River Beach House is uniquely located to enhance your enjoyment of the landscape. Unlike many vacation rentals Tybee Island GA, this home is tucked away on the Tybee Creek side of the island's southern peninsula. Still within a short walk of South Beach and the Tybee Island Pier and Pavillion, this accommodation offers a cool, quiet respite after a busy day on the strand.

When you walk in the garden-level front door, a cool foyer with a hall table emits a sense of calm and welcome. A large garage offers convenient indoor parking, and an open staircase provides access to the main floors above.

The bright, cozy living room draws you in with comfortable furnishings in a sea-blue and warm sand color scheme. Plenty of throw pillows on the sofa invite you to sink in while matching overstuffed armchairs encourage conversation. Large windows add a sense of expanse. The dining area and kitchen await just beyond the open archway. A formal dining set offers elegant seating for eight beneath a sparkling chandelier. The Cape Cod-style kitchen features a full roster of stainless-steel appliances. A duo of twin beds in the fourth bedroom accommodates the kids or singles in you travel group. Leafy views beyond the large window make this a cozy nest for restful nights. The sparkling third bathroom has a tub/shower.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located at 19 Silver Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.
Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm

Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.
Day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day, and the day after Thanksgiving
Day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve & Day, and the day after Christmas Day

Guests with Pets
This property is not pet-friendly. If you're traveling with a dog, ask us about our pet-friendly properties that accommodate up to 2 dogs (50 lb combined weight max) for a $130 pet fee.

Long-Term Stays
For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For these reservations, we require an additional cleaning at a cost every 30 days. The cleaning cost varies by property. Our office will be in touch to schedule.
